He's here to rectify.
He's got his black belt buckle,
And the red man's fire in his eye.
Hold the press!!
Don't go wasting all your applause just yet, save some for Hannah. They have been treading the floorboards for exactly 18 years and they have been totally female!! She has been in the spotlight roughly a while, and they're loving it!!
And now for the good stuff!!
We have a new kid on the block, going by the name of Aiden Catesby, but only their mother calls them that; you can call them Aid, Catesby, The Dragon, Dragon, Harbinger, Cursed One! Rumour has it this dude is a totally hoopy frood; so Mum's, lock up your daughters!! They've been cruising the streets of London for 86 years now, after coming into this god forsaken world on 31st October.
Here's the vitals!!
Race::Fuoco Elemental
Special Abilities:: Fire BreathingThis is the ability to produce flames orally. Aiden can spit fire up to 12 feet.
Advanced Heat and Fire Manipulation This is the power to manipulate fire and heat. With this power, Aiden can make walls of fire which are completely impenetrable, he can cover someone or something with fire, without harming them, he can create huge fire balls out of a match sized flame … he can do pretty much anything except create fire out of nothing.
Fire Avatar This is the ability to produce an animal that is made purely of fire. It can act independently from the elemental, but is usually under their control. Aiden’s avatar is the form of a dragon.
Family::Family of the Fallen
Position in the Family:: Bringer of Justice
The physical!!
The hair::Aiden’s hair is dark brown, almost but not quite black. He wears it short and will let it get any longer than a centimeter and a half.
The eyes::His eyes are such a dark brown that they look black, his pupils often disappearing into the iris.
The body::Aiden is buff. He measures a full 6 foot 7, and his arms are s wide as most women’s waists.
The style:: He tends to wear jeans and vest tops as he finds it difficult to find standard t-shirts that fit over his arms and chest and that are long enough to cover his abs. Any suits that he has to wear are tailor made, as are his jeans.
The looks::
Aiden looks scary. He is giant huge and built like a tank and he wears clothes that tend to emphasis this. He likes the fact that everyone gives him a wide berth, even in crowds where there is seemingly nowhere else to move, he always has a few feet space around him. He has a lot of tattoos all over his body, all with a reason behind them, though that meaning is more often than not “cuz I felt like it”.
The mental!!
The likes:: His powers, body building, fire, reptiles, tattoos, pain, inflicting pain, his job, hen parties, one night stands
The dislikes:: cats, dogs, vampires, criminals, bland food, club music, virgin cocktails, cocktails in general, non alcoholic “alcohol”, emotional women
The hopes:: to kick some serious Creature-butt, to help defeat the other Families,
The fears:: To lose his job, to find out that he is actually cursed, to some how lose his powers completely
The talents:: Fighting, though he's rarely had chance to use this since getting his third power. Chatting up women. Playing the drums.
The bad habits:: Not listening to people, swinging on spinny chairs when bored, drinking on the job
The attitude::
Aiden is bad ass in the extreme. He loves his job, almost too much. He tends to think with his fists (or other body parts)and will never listen to excuses, no matter how good it is. He is a womaniser and refuses to see anyone more than a handful of times. He tends to be the moody silent type, but is overly sarcastic to the point of being rude when he does actually speak. Since his fiancée was killed, he's built up a wall around his heart and he refuses to let anyone come even close to it, let alone worm their way through it.

The history::
Robert and Catherine Catesby met when they were both young and instantly fell for each other. Whilst Robert and his family were hugely wealthy, Catherine’s family were struggling to reach ends meat and provide for the seven daughters they had been blessed with. For them, this was a match made in heaven as it would instantly allow them access to more social events, giving them a better chance at marrying off their daughters.
Roberts family were less happy about the union and dug their heals in right up until they were married. They threatened to cut Robert off from their fortune and, after the wedding, made good with this promise.
Robert, used to being able to get whatever he wanted as soon as he wanted it, was devastated, but his new wife was ecstatic with what they had. Her attitude soon rubbed off on him and he soon began to enjoy what they had.
A few years down the line, Catherine fell pregnant with their first child. Neither of them had spoken to Roberts family since the wedding, but Catherine thought it was only right for them to know about their future grandchild. They didn’t get in touch with her until after word had gotten to them that it was a boy, when they promptly turned up on their door step as if nothing had happened.
Robert was welcomed back into the family and his wife was treated well, but not quite equally to everyone else. All was going well, until William’s 5th birthday.
They were at the Catesby’s country home, as was now tradition. It was a beautiful place, set in rolling hills, with a huge lake in the grounds. William had always been intrigued with the lake, which was quite a worry for his family; Fuoco’s generally stayed clear of water.
During the birthday dinner, William had left the table to go to the bathroom. After he’d been gone for 10 minutes, Catherine went off in search of him, wanting to make sure he was okay. Five minutes later, she came running back for her husband having not been able to find him.
The whole family searched for him furiously and as each minute passed, Catherine became more distressed. She was ordered to another room to calm down, where she stood at the window. A few minutes passed, and then a scream tore through the house. Everyone ran to where Catherine was, only to be knocked flying as she ran to the door, having burnt the door from its hinges. Robert followed closely, not sure what was happening but only aware of his wife’s distress. When he realized where she was heading, he panicked and upped his pace, quickly over taking her.
He arrived at the lake just in time to drag his son’s body out of the water.
Catherine was distraught. She blamed herself for not having gone to look for him sooner, and she knew that Robert’s family thought the same. Relations between them grew tense once more, though they never really lost contact quite as fully as they had done before.
Years passed. Catherine fell pregnant again and gave birth to twin boys, one of which was still born. She’d had a number of miscarriages in the intervening years, and so didn’t allow herself to get as attached to her son as she had done before. Robert noticed this and grew worried about her, but never mentioned it to his parents, sure that they’d use it as another reason to hate her.
As Robert Jnr grew up, he noticed his mother’s detachment from him and fought to win her affections. By the time he was 18, his powers had manifested as the exact same as hers. Now that he was strong enough to look out for himself, Catherine had allowed herself to form a bond with him. They rarely went out without each other now, able to pass themselves off as brother and sister.
Robert Jnr soon joined the army, despite his mother’s protests. There were few battles nowadays, so there was little to worry about, what was the harm in joining up now? He trained every day, perhaps more than he should, to put his mother’s mind at rest. As the years passed, Catherine grew more confident in her son’s abilities and was able to wave him off to training exercises without much stress.
During one such training exercise, Robert’s group was attacked by a group of vampyrs. Three elementals managed to escape thanks to one of their teleporting abilities. They raised the alarm, but by the time back up had arrived, the rest of the group had been slaughtered. Half of the bodies, however, were missing, one of which was Robert Jnr.
Catherine never gave up hope that Robert would return. She refused point blank to believe that he was dead, hoping instead that he was captured and taken away. She’d never thought that she’d wish that on anyone, but to her it was the better alternative; she couldn’t bare the idea of losing another son.
As the years passed, Catherine refused to clear out her Robert Jnr’s room, determined that he would one day return to fill it. Robert once again grew worried about the mental state of his wife, but learnt to live with it, realizing that there was nothing that he could do about it.
Catherine knew that she was being ridiculous, but it was like she was watching someone else take control of her life. She longed to have another child, but was afraid that if she did she’d lose them too. She saw a pattern in all of her life and thought that if she had a girl, the pattern would be broken. When she fell pregnant again, she knew that this would be her last chance as she was getting too old now.
She sought the help of a Wise Woman behind her husband’s back. He thought she was being ridiculous and wouldn’t even entertain this delusion. She spoke to the Scuro and relayed her fears, explaining that she was desperate for a girl to break the curse she was sure she was living under. The Scuro gave her a potion to drink every night of the pregnancy, promising her it would give her an end to the curse.
When Catherine went into labor, she was ecstatic, knowing that this would be over soon. She couldn’t wait until she got to hold her daughter in her arms.
The labor was hard and full of unforeseen complications. The baby was breech, the cord wrapped around its neck, and soon went into distress, dragging Catherine with it. The hours dragged by, bringing more problems with them. By the end of the labor, Catherine was slipping in and out of consciousness, barely able to push any more. As the baby was born, Catherine lost consciousness one final time, never setting eyes on her new born son.
Robert was hysterical. He wanted nothing to do with the son that had killed his wife and, his parent’s having passed away some years before, gave him up to the rest of the Tribe. He didn’t care what happened to him anymore and finally saw what his wife had seen all these years before; they were cursed.
Not wanting to live in a world without Catherine, Robert jumped off Tower Bridge, a week after she’d died.
The Tribe, unsure what to do with the new child, took him in as a unit as no one was willing to give a permanent home to the cursed child. They called him Aiden, after someone had looked up names meaning fire in a baby names book.
As Aiden grew up, he became detached from the Tribe. He grew up thinking that he was cursed, having been told so numerous times by various elementals. Whenever things went wrong around him, it was his fault. Whenever things went wrong when he wasn’t around, it was still his fault.
By the time he was 13, he had completely withdrawn himself from the Tribe. His first power had shown itself and was one that set him even more apart from them, Fire Breathing. Not many of the Fuoco’s could do this and none of the few that could, could do it with so much force. It was just another sign that he was wrong somehow.
He soon entered the moody teenage stage, where nothing was wrong with him, it was just everything else that was fucked up. When his second power manifested, it proved his theory. Advanced Fire Manipulation wasn’t that odd anyway, admittedly the fact that he has so much control over it so fast was bizarre, but that was just cuz he was great, not because he was cursed.
When he turned 18, he’d got his third and final power. He was practicing controlling his Dragon in one of the old Docks when Molly appeared. A blonde goddess, she’d been following him for days now, sticking to the shadows as only a Scuro Elemental could. She told him this and that, much to his surprise, she didn’t think he was cursed.
The pair grew steadily closer and, a few months later, finally had their first kiss. Aiden was completely head over heels for her and she completely changed the way he saw the world. She made it so that he realized there was actually some good in everyone and that you only had to look for it. Through her, he was steadily accepted back into the Tribe and wasn’t upset when they didn’t through a welcome back party. He learnt to make do with what he was given and not look at what else he could have.
By the time he was twenty, he had joined the army and was in an amazing relationship with a woman he loved. Everything was going well for him and he owed it all to Molly. He couldn’t imagine a live without her and would do anything to keep her safe. To make sure she knew this, he bought her a ring.
It took him months to save up enough money to buy it, having not been told of the fortune that was in a bank account, waiting for him. He took her out to her favourite restaurant and spent all his money on buying her her favourite meal. He proposed, on his knee, in front of everyone and she cried when she accepted. It was the perfect night and everything had gone to plan. Nothing could ruin this moment for him.
He walked her home, not having enough money for the cab fare, and kissed her goodnight on the steps. He stood at the end of the path, watching as she closed the door and waved through the curtain, then turned and all but skipped down the road. As he was about to turn the corner, he heard her scream.
His blood ran cold as he ran full speed back to her house and burnt the door from its hinges. What he saw froze him completely in place. Molly was surrounded by were’s, each taking chunks out of her flesh whilst she cried for his to save her. He breathed out threw his mouth, letting his power seep into his breath, turning it to flame. But before he could do anything with it, he was attacked by a single cat. He was rendered completely powerless as the cat blocked his abilities from him, and was forced to watch as they ate her alive.
They were about to turn on him when another cat teleported into the room, demanding that they return back to court immediately, the Kings had called for their presences before them. Before they all left, they jeered at the still powerless Aiden.
Once they had gone, Aiden lay with his fiancée and cradled her in his arms. He was cursed. There was no other explanation. His father had known it and killed himself to get away from him. The Tribe had known it. The only person that didn’t know it was now dead. And it was his fault.
He cried over her body, not willing to let her go. For hours, he just sobbed, until the grief turned to anger. Not anger at himself, but to everyone else. There was no reason for this to have happened. Curse? It was bollocks. None of this was his fault. None of it. He knew whose fault it was and they were going to pay for it.
He walked over to the Moonlit Court and waited until those responsible left. He followed them home and smiled as he burnt them alive, leaving a dragon emblem next to each one so they knew who had done it. It took weeks to find them all, but when he found the last one they had hidden themselves, hoping to outsmart him. It didn’t work. They pissed themselves when he walked through the door, and he just laughed. He toyed with this one, burning them slowly until they screamed for him to stop. He did, but only long enough to break their legs in such a way that it wouldn’t heal and then set them alight to burn slowly.
The Tribe soon caught wind of this, and were disgusted with what he had done. But they also saw an opportunity. For years, the Elementals had been slipping, and it was becoming ever harder to keep control of them. The Tribe’s leaders were losing the power they had over them and were unable to do anything about it. They needed someone to help them, whilst looking like they worked independently. They Elementals were scared of The Dragon, as he was now called. He was mentally unhinged. He would be the perfect person for the job.
They approached him with the offer. He accepted. Anything to get back at the bastards that had made his life hell. Whenever an Elemental crossed the line, he’d be pointed in their direction and he’d eliminate them, always leaving his Dragon emblem on their door to show that he’d been there.
Over the years, he has become a living legend. A bogeyman to scare children into keeping on the straight and narrow. He occasionally crosses over into human killings, mostly when the Elementals are being annoyingly decent people. When he does, he targets those who have done serious wrong. Serial rapists, murders, paedophiles, people that talk in the theatre... That kind of thing. No one is safe from him. His name is feared by all, even the other Families.
