Roxanne could hear the boys behind her and cringed inwardly, knowing full well that Ethan would be able to as well. They both knew that Loki referred to him as The Brat Prince, but the fact that he was actively encouraging someone else to do the same? Well, it made her laugh, but she could feel that Ethan wasn't too happy. She might have to ask him to stop that. At least, stop within earshot of him.
“Well after the broadcasting of your emotions slamming into my brain I didn't exactly have much of a choice...” She cringed slightly, feeling incredibly guilty. She didn't realise that having the shield up would do that as it had never happened with her and Loki before. Then again, she wasn't really surprised that strange things were happening with her sheilds, it seemed to be happening with everything else.
"I'm sorry, I didn't realise having my sheild up would do that. I'm new to all this stuff, it never used to do anything like that with Loki." She smiled up to him, moving slightly closer. "I'm surprised you were able to find me, though, I'd have thought my shield would have stopped that." “Drink? I might stay for one then I guess but I was wondering if you would be interested in having a nice meal? I promise I'm a great cook?” Roxi actually cringed this time, knowing exactly how Loki would feel about that. This was the first night out they'd had since Ethan had come onto the scene, and he'd now gate crashed it. She looked over to Loki again, biting her lip as she thought. She hated doing this, she always ended up pissing one of them off and the one she pissed off always tended to blame the other one. That tended to make the relationship between the pair more strained, which made them even moodier when she spent time with the other one. It was a viscous circle that showed no signs of stopping. As Ethan put his hand on her back, she smothered the urge to hit him. She could feel the discomfort radiating off of him and so she decided to let it slide. She moved closer to him, sliding her ar around his waist, trying to put him at ease, and walked towards the bar. "Erm, do you mind if we don't tonight? I promised Loki a night out. You could join us? We'll probably head over to the ice bar for slushies then somewhere else then get a take out and head home. You can stay at ours though. And we can spend the day doing what ever you want tomorrow?" By this time, they had made their way to the bar. As Ethan sat down, she looked around for another stool for her. When she found none, she looked to Ethan and smiled shyly "Any chance of a lift up?" [/blockquote]

Loki Rolled his eyes at Ethan's pompous attitude. It was going to be priceless when the cat finally worked out he was in a gay bar. Loki was going to be on the floor laughing his head off and it would be ammo for weeks on end.
“He's attractive, but I don't get on with cats... I prefer real men. Same again please, love!"
Loki nodded and agreed with that, barring his sister he really didn't seem to get along with other cats, usual because they tried to kill him or launch attacks on people... but other than those ones their where pompous git's like the prince over their who looked as if he was walking over needles. Unfortunately though he didn't seem to be getting ready to leave at any point.
“I know the feeling with that one. I'd much prefer a real man any day.”
He took a sip out of the double Jack this time around, not feeling like getting hammered to fast and actually enjoying the taste. He dropped another one of the ice-cubes into his mouth at the same time, ever since going to the ice bar he had grown a complete and utter obsession with ice cubes. Considering that all it was was a cube of frozen water, when it was covered with alcohol it was oddly addictive. Plus that and the fact Loki had a seriously addictive personality. He tilted his head to one side as Ethan and Roxi made their way over to the bar. Great he was staying. As he sat down and glanced around again Loki realised he probably wasn't too comfortable and obviously wanted to leave... but Roxi was refusing to leave as he had had to negotiate this night. A grin spread across his face and it would be pretty obvious to any one that he was up to something. He indicated for JD to move close so he could at least try to speak without the cats hearing him, which required whispering... well that was his excuse and he was sticking to it. “I've got an idea. He's already uncomfortable and so does not realise that he is in a gay bar. If you wouldn't mind doing me a little favour we could make it that much worse.... Taking him down a notch and stop him thinking he is the messiah.” He did his best to keep his amusement of the situation down so Roxi wouldn't pick up on it, trying to keep the irritation at the front of his mind over the fact that the brat was staying. Although it was pretty difficult as he was already laughing at what this was going to turn into. He hoped it was working or Roxi would be getting an odd collection of emotions from him from amused to being irritated. [/blockquote]

Jack watched in the mirror behind the bar as the pair walked up to them. He could see the slight hesitation when Roxi slid her arm around him, but any one else wouldn't really have noticed it; the only reason he did was because he was studying them so deeply. Unfortunatly, that was one part of his training that he hadn't been able to shake if; if he saw any member of the opposite Courts, he studied them intently.
“I know the feeling with that one. I'd much prefer a real man any day.”
Jack turned his attention back to Loki and took a sip out of his drink at the same time as he did. He wasn't all that pleased that Kavanagh was staying, that much was obvious. And judging by the look on his face, Kavanagh wasn't too happy about it either. And, come to think of it, Kitty cat didn't look happy either.
He raised his eyebrow, amazed at how the appearence of one cat could completely change the atmosphere of a group. Admitedly, he'd seen it often enough where he was the one to change the atmosphere, but it was still a strange thing to watch.
He took another sip of his drink and looked up at Loki, grinning when he saw a mischevious smile spread across his features. As Loki leaned in, his shirt gaped open, allowing Jack to let his eyes slide down his chest. And he was glad he did too, it was quite a sight.
“I've got an idea. He's already uncomfortable and so does not realise that he is in a gay bar." Jack grinned and rested his hand on Loki's shoulder, guessing from the proximity that he was trying to make his brother-in-law realise where he was.
"If you wouldn't mind doing me a little favour we could make it that much worse.... Taking him down a notch and stop him thinking he is the messiah.” Jack grinned, guessing what his mission for tonight was.
Without missing a beat, he sat up and looked over to Kavanagh, raising his eyebrow in Loki's direction. Putting on a fairly camp voice, he leant over and patted Ethan on the knee and said, "Oh, come on hunni... Now that's just not nice ... He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" He turned to Roxi and winked, "Isn't that right, Kitty!"
He grinned at Loki, then turned back to Kavanagh, quickly blowing him a kiss. He quickly turned away, trying to keep a straight face as he downed his JD once more, totally failing as he all but chocked.

"Erm, do you mind if we don't tonight? I promised Loki a night out. You could join us? We'll probably head over to the ice bar for slushies then somewhere else then get a take out and head home. You can stay at ours though. And we can spend the day doing what ever you want tomorrow?"
Ethan sat down on the stool as Rox detached to find another bar stool, he would try his best sulk face but they never tending to work with Rox, it was a pain in the back side given that he really was not used to getting his own way. He kept the frustration down though... knowing that would only annoy her more and would make Loki gloat until no tomorrow.
"Any chance of a lift up?"
Ethan did grin a little before leaning down to pick her up into his lap. He used his ability too lift her up quicker so he didn't put to much pressure of her stomach where his arms where. When she was sat in his lap he rested his chin on her shoulders and sighed lightly, relaxing a little, well as much as he could in a strange bar and out in public. He glanced over to where Loki was sitting with the man who's lap Roxi had previously been occupying to see them both leaning in to each other quite intimately. Bringing Ethan back to his level of uncomfortable'ness that he had been at since entering the bar.
On glancing to the bartender as well she seemed utterly unphased by the two men at his side and seemed more perplexed by him and Rox. He sighed and dropped his head onto Roxi's shoulder, holding back a groan and forcing himself to stay in his chair rather than flee the building.. which he really wanted to do now.
This was then made... considerably worse. The man who's name he still did not know tapped him in his knee, Ethan held back the flinch and slipped into the mode he had to when he was in the courts and people wanted to shakes and other things that actually included contact. Ethan really did not like contact with people and especially with people he didn't know.
"Oh, come on hunni... Now that's just not nice ... He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!"
Ethan raised his eyebrow and tilted his head a little closer to Roxi, using her scent to calm him down some.
"Isn't that right, Kitty!"
Ethan kept the growl in his chest down, he really was not a fan of having people mocking him and the only reason he wasn't snarling at the man right now was Rox sitting on his lap. Being the youngest of several brothers though, he was however a little used to it, something he would not let get out into the public eye of course. He decided to go along with standard and quote Monty Python right back... Beyond that he was pretty much lost for a response given that he was pretty far out of his comfort zone.
“Oh but if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away."

Roxi smiled as Ethan lifted her up, feeling the slight use of power so that he didn't crush her ribs. Normally she would have poked him for thinking that she was so delicate, but she could still feel the discomfort coming off of him in waves. She knew he hadn't worked out where they were a yet and she was waiting for the realisation to hit. When it eventually did, she had a feeling that she'd be dragged out and told not to come back.
She cuddled up to him as he leant his chin in her shoulder. She was actually small enough to fit comfortably under his chin when he was sat normally, but for some reason at the moment he seemed to be wanting to keep low. She put her hand slowly under his jacket. Anyone else, and he'd likely rip her arm off, but with her it always seemed to calm him down.
She turned around to grab her drink, noticing the odd looks she was getting from the bar tender and some of the punters. She fidgeted uncomfortably under their gazes, hoping that Ethan wouldn't notice them. She turned back and poured them both a drink only to realise that her Life Mate wouldn't even touch the glass it was in, let alone drink it.
She turned around again, this time purposely catching the eye of the bar maid. "Can I have a pint of Guinness please?" She smiled at her as she handed over the money she'd managed to sneak out of her bra when Ethan wasn't looking, and turned back around just in time for JD to tap him on the leg. She immediately felt Ethan tense and, with her hands full of change and Guinness, she wasn't able to do anything to calm him. "Oh, come on hunni... Now that's just not nice ... He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy! Isn't that right, Kitty!" She heard Ethan growl under his breath and laid her head up against his cheek, sending her apologetic emotions to him down their link. She didn't have to guess at what had been said to get this response from JD. She was gonna do some serious ass kicking if this didn't stop. “Oh but if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away." She smiled and turned to kiss Ethan, proud that he'd managed not to snap like Loki would have wanted him to. He handed him his drink then turned to quickly kick Loki in the shin. "What the hell is your problem? If you want Ethan to leave, that's fine, but you know full well that I'll be going with him. You know I hate it when you're like this." She sat back and rested her back against Ethan's chest. Crossing her arms over her own chest, she glared at her bother and said "If you two don't learn to get along ... I dunno what will happen, cuz neither of you are gonna be leaving my life. Either you get on so you can both be around me or you keep to your bloody separate times. Or I could lock you both in a room and see who survives. Your choice."[/blockquote]

"Oh, come on hunni... Now that's just not nice ... He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy! Isn't that right, Kitty!"
Loki did his damned hardest to keep a straight face but failed rather miserably. He covered it purely by keeping his attention on JD and scooting closer to mock pat him on the back to help him from his alcohol induced choking fit. He left his hand on JD's back as he downed the rest of his drink as well, needed it as he could feel the anger pretty much coiling within Rox... this was gonna hurt... but it was so worth it.
“Oh but if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away."
After Ethan spoke Loki sat looking somewhat confused for a second before bursting out laughing again. That was the last bloody thing he thought would come out of his mouth. He was expecting yelling, growling or sulking... he was not expecting a quote back in a sarcy tone in the slightest. Heck maybe there was some hope for the old boy yet... he might just not be a lost cause... well. Maybe.
"What the hell is your problem? If you want Ethan to leave, that's fine, but you know full well that I'll be going with him. You know I hate it when you're like this. If you two don't learn to get along ... I dunno what will happen, cuz neither of you are gonna be leaving my life. Either you get on so you can both be around me or you keep to your bloody separate times. Or I could lock you both in a room and see who survives. Your choice."
First thing. Ow. Damned the little sister could kick. He rubbed his spare hand over him now sore shin, his other hand still occupied with JD's back, for no particular reason other than the fact he really liked the proximity to the man, in his defence... he was hot.
“First things first. Well done Cat-boy, I'm bloody impressed I seriously didn't think you had it in you. There might just be hope for you yet and you might be good enough for my little sis.”
He shrugged his shoulder still grinning as he was actually a little please with this outcome... although he still didn't like the man violating his little sister at least he wasn't the most boring guy in the world any more. He turned his attention back to his sister to get her to stop glaring and kicking him. Mean little harpy.
“And I'm Sorry Rox, It's just he leaves himself open.. but at least now I know he can fight back. However if Ethan gets more uncomfortable...”
He half trailed off mid-sentence, realising he was currently having to force himself on concentrating on his little sister. Not exactly his one fault, completely blamed on the hand currently tracing on his thigh. He couldn't help the grin on his face as he tried to actually remember where he was going with that sentence. Realising he was probably sending Rox a huge burst of “I need a lay” vibes and tried to temper it through their link a little, he was pretty good at that, he'd been doing it for nearly twenty years now. “I'll understand if you want to bail this time, as Long as I can book you for friday seeing as this mister hear gatecrashed.” [/blockquote]

Jack was rather taken aback when Kavanagh quoted back at him. He hadn’t really thought that he’d be the type of person to have any form of vague interest in Monty Python, let along watch it enough to be able to quote it on demand. To be honest, he didn’t really expect him to kick back and relax with a DVD at all; he was surprised that he’d have time what with all the killing and torturing his kind did.
Though, perhaps he was being a bit harsh. It was obvious that not all cats were like that. If they were, Loki wouldn’t be so close to Kitty. Killing and torturing for sport was completely forbidden within the Free Court; it was one of the very few rules they had. Anyone that wished to have their help had to comply, and most did for they knew that if they didn’t, they would be asked to leave and therefore be left without protection.
He looked over to Kitty, smiling as she kissed Kavanagh and stood up for him. There had to be something good in him or she wouldn’t have done that. But, then again, Sarah had always done that for him when his army mates had been ripping into him for whatever reason. The tone of voice and look on her face was exactly the same as the one Kitty was currently using on Loki, and it made his heart ache.
He missed that. He missed the link he had with Sarah, though admittedly it wasn’t as strong and the couple sat in front of him at the moment; nothing could be as strong as the magick bond that held them together. Mostly, however, he missed waking up next to someone and not having to worry about waking them as he snuck around to retrieve his underwear.
He was starting to wonder whether it was about time to hang up his lucky pants and settle down with some-
He shook his head to clear those stupid thought from his mind and ordered another drink (or five), downing all but two in order to make sure that they stayed away. He turned to Loki to offer him one of the remaining drinks only to find that he was talking to Kavanagh. He tried to focus and listen to what was being said, but at this point he wasn’t particularly interested.
Using his telekinesis to move his stool closer to Loki, he rested his head lightly on his shoulder and ran his finger tips over his thigh. He chuckled into his ear as he heard his words falter slightly; thrilled that he was actually having an effect on him. He moved back and downed his drink again, taking an ice cube into his mouth.
He placed his head once more on Loki’s shoulder, this time placing the ice on his ear. He laughed as it melted on contact and quickly licked the water off. As Loki turned around, Jack grinned broadly and moved closer to him, pressing his torso against his back. He stopped just short of his lips and whispered“How do you fancy ... having a quickie on the dance floor?” He moved back quickly and stood in front of him. “I fancy a dance.” He grinned to Loki then turned to Kitty and Kavanagh, giving them both a quick playful salute. “Been a pleasure Kitty Cat, Mr Kitty. If you’ll excuse me, I’m ‘bout to go against what my Mummy said and get my fingers burnt.” He turned around after winking to Loki and walked for the dance floor, trying to look confident that he’d follow whilst keeping a pace that he could easily catch up with. Ethan took the pint from Roxi and took a long, deep drink. He really needed it. It was pretty much all he could do to block out the fact the man who's name he did not know was now tracing his had up and down Loki's thigh, causing the Elemental to stutter in his speech slightly. The fact he used Telekinesis to move closer to Loki gave him a pretty good sign the man was another Elemental. Ethan was pretty open minded... ok, no he wasn't when it came to places like he was in and what he was currently looking at. But then he was raised like a cat... you waited for your life-mate and that was that.
He tilted his head towards Roxi's neck again, using the connection to keep him calm and to try and ease some of the uncomfortable feelings screaming around his body. He groaned slightly low as he tried to ignore the spectacle on his side and had actually decided to taken to ignoring them completely. Even though he vaguely registered that Loki was speaking to him. At that point Roxi jumped and Ethan got a feed back of emotions from Roxi, he could tell the signature of them was however from Loki and it made him torn between uncomfortable and amused at this point.
How do you fancy ... having a quickie on the dance floor?”
At that whispered comment he nudged Roxi a few times.. sometimes having cat like hearing sucked... he Really could of done without the tidbit of information. He sent Roxi a ton of pleading vibes to either give him an opportunity to flee and preferably for her to come with him. Heck if she agreed even HE would agree to go on a sodding spa and shopping trip with Loki as long as the man didn't make him endure this again.
“I fancy a dance. Been a pleasure Kitty Cat, Mr Kitty. If you’ll excuse me, I’m ‘bout to go against what my Mummy said and get my fingers burnt.”
As he turned and swaggered to the dance floor one thing pretty much over rode the uncomfortable feelings and everything else. He shook his head slightly... sure he must of heard wrong as that was just completely random...
He turned to Rox with a bit of a puzzled frown on his face.
“Did he just call me.. Mr Kitty???”

"How do you fancy ... having a quickie on the dance floor?"
Roxi giggled slightly as JD whispered into Loki's ear. After the quick smash of horniness that she'd gotten off him, she was now in a more forgiving mood and seemingly more giggly. She could feel the discomfort off Ethan growing more intense and judging from the nudges and mental pleading she was now getting, he wanted to leave, but it didn't really affect her as it was doing before hand. She sent a dose of her giddiness to him, hoping to calm him down a bit.
“I fancy a dance. Been a pleasure Kitty Cat, Mr Kitty. If you’ll excuse me, I’m ‘bout to go against what my Mummy said and get my fingers burnt.”
She giggled even more, choking slightly on the drink she'd just taken a mouthful of. She knew that Ethan wouldn't be too impressed with the nick name, but she was drunk enough now to be amused by pretty much anything. And JD was defiantly starting to grow on her.
She felt Ethan's confusion and turned to face him just as he threw her a puzzled frown. “Did he just call me.. Mr Kitty???”
She struggled to stop the giggle that was trying to escape and, thankfully, managed it, though she wasn't sure if she'd managed to smother the amusement leaking through the link they had. "That's just JD hun, he calls me Kitty ... mainly as I haven't actually had chance to tell him my real name in between him hitting on my big brother and ... well, hitting on my big brother." She buried her head into his neck and kissed him gently. Stretching, she whispered into his ear, "You want to go home don't you ... " She sighed and kissed his ear quickly then turned back to Loki. She could see that he wanted to go after JD and smiled at him. "Go after him. Me and Ethan are gonna head home, so you can have him all to yourself." She lent over to him and kissed him on the cheek. "Have fun and behave! I'll see you tomorrow. And I'll go to that Spa thing you wanted to do this weekend ... " She shuddered, showing just how she felt about what she'd just offered, hoping that he'd take it by way of an apology. She felt slightly guilty about leaving him when they'd gone through so much trouble to come out in the first place, but the fact Loki was obviously lusting after JD made it somewhat easier. Plus, she wanted to put some distance between her and her brother, hoping that in doing so she'd make the horniness that was coursing through her at the moment weaker. [/blockquote]

Loki pretty much gave up on trying to concentrate on what was being said around, around the second the ice made contact with his ear. Loki was very used to being in the other position in this situation, he was actually enjoying being the flirtee for a change. To the point which was making him a little giddy and he was probably killing Roxi and making her want to mount Ethan on the table. Although that would be amusing he really didn't want to see his little sister being violated on a table... Although he wouldn't quite mind it himself at this point.
His train of thoughts where interupted when JD pressed himself against him. Yup, he was definitely enjoying this man. “How do you fancy ... having a quickie on the dance floor?” Loki wanted to go straight of his chair to follow him but knew he might get kicked if he did... “I fancy a dance., Been a pleasure Kitty Cat, Mr Kitty. If you’ll excuse me, I’m ‘bout to go against what my Mummy said and get my fingers burnt.”
The grin on his face was there for so many reasons, one he was sending pleading vibes to Roxi to let him of the hook so he could go. The fact he had called Ethan Mr Kitty, something which Loki will be remembering for future use as that was just classic. And the confused look on Ethan's face just made it even better.
"Go after him. Me and Ethan are gonna head home, so you can have him all to yourself. Have fun and behave! I'll see you tomorrow. And I'll go to that Spa thing you wanted to do this weekend ... "
“Spa! Gothcya. And Ethan is welcome to come if he really wants, I'll get him booked in and everything.”
The grin on his face would probably tell Roxi that Ethan would probably try to kill his straight after. Well a prince of the courts should be able to undergo a little waxing now and then shouldn't he? Even the thought of it was bloody hilarious.
He got up from his seat and strolled onto the dance floor after JD, Ethan could walk into a place as if he could own the place but Loki could still draw eyes to him with the way he walked. And he was getting a nice bit of his confidence back tonight after the park incident. He slipped his fingers through the other man's belt loops when he caught up with him pulling him back to close the small distance between them. He grinned broadly and it was pretty obvious in his tone of voice too.
“What was that about a dance then?”

Jack stood at the edge of the dance floor, trying to look as though he were waiting for an opening in the crowds or something instead of waiting for Loki to join him. He tried to look casual, but he had a feeling that he was failing appallingly. He was getting a few looks from some of the guys near the edge, most indicating that he should join them instead of waiting around.
He was just about to give up completely and go find some fun elsewhere when Loki walked up to him and grabbed him by the belt loops, closing the gap between them.
“What was that about a dance then?”
Jack grinned at Loki, pulling him closer and running his finger lightly along his lips. He followed his finger with his tongue, then turned abruptly and sauntered of to the dance floor, grabbing hold of Loki's hand and dragging him with him; he didn't particularly want to lose him in this crowd as anyone in thier right mind would try to steal him off him.
As the music started up, he grabbed Loki's waist and pulled him right up close to him. He wrapped his arms around his waist and pushed right up against him, arching his back so that he could actually see him without going cross eyed.

"Go after him. Me and Ethan are gonna head home, so you can have him all to yourself. Have fun and behave! I'll see you tomorrow. And I'll go to that Spa thing you wanted to do this weekend ... "
When Rox moved away from Loki and back toward him he snaked his arm around her waste, feeling completely nervous and out of place when she moved away from him, however from looking at him he only look a little uncomfortable. He watched as Loki sauntered on to the dance floor and how as many people who had watched his entrance watched the other man walk onto the dance floor. He had to admit Loki had presence and could get peoples attention with little effort when he was just crossing a dance floor.
Ethan dropped his head onto Roxi's shoulder, groaning slightly and trying to purge the image JD and Loki had just put into his mind... until he had met the elemental he had actually been considered the most open minded cat in the royal family... actually within the courts. He spent a lot of time around humans and he shared his dads perspective over the free caught. But as much as he knew that Loki was a little sex obsessed this was one scenario he had not imagined.
“When people call me open minded in the future I am probably going to have flashs of your brother and JD....”
Ethan shook his head to try and clear it... sometimes have a really good virtual eidetic memory was a bad thing, especial in this situation.
“And if we leave now I swear I will go to the spa in your stead... or spend a whole day camped in water stones and give you lend of my credit card.
Ethan took a long swing on his guineas, practically downing it in one even though it was one of those ice cold types. Growing up in Ireland he still had a penchant for real ale and not the stuff half of the places here seemed to sell under the pretence of real ale. He did however hold his tongue... he was trying to get Roxi out of here, whining and getting into a rant about Ale would probably not speed up the process.

Roxi smiled as she watched her brother saunter off towards the dance floor, glad to see that he had finally gotten some self-confidence back. She knew it had been just about a week since that night in the park, which wasn’t that long a time, even to humans, but she’d spent that week worrying about the stranger her brother was becoming. What made it worse was that she hadn’t known how she could get his confidence back, especially as she was getting used to his powers as well as getting to know her life mate. Judging from what she could see on the dance floor now though, she wouldn’t have been that much help in banishing the stranger; there was no way on Earth that she would have done that.
She felt Ethan drop his head onto her shoulder and kissed it lightly. She could feel the discomfort off him still, even though JD and Loki had departed. She ran one hand lightly over the arm wrapped around her waist and the other through his hair, trying to comfort him and work out what to do with the other emotions she was getting off Loki.
“When people call me open minded in the future I am probably going to have flashes of your brother and JD....” Roxi smiled and kissed his head again. It still surprised her that he was meant to be the most liberal of all the cats and yet he felt awkward around her brother when he was hitting on guys. She was just glad that Ethan hadn’t met her when they had gone to Absolut Ice Bar; he’d probably have prayed to the Gods to switch Life Mates. Had she ever been so blinkered? She would ask Loki, but she was afraid of the answer.
“And if we leave now I swear I will go to the spa in your stead..."
She laughed and jumped back onto his knee, not needing a lift up now no one was looking. She snuggled up close to him, practically going into the foetal position against his chest. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed him gently and ran her fingers through his hair.
After pulling back, she smiled at him. “You don’t have to go to the spa in my stead, but it might be nice if the three of us did something together … I want you both to get along.” She then remembered Loki’s grin, full of plotting, and realised that this was probably a bad idea. But she did want them to get along, and what better place would there be for them to all meet up than a place that’s soul purpose was to relax you? And where there are numerous witnesses. “Or spend a whole day camped in water stones and give you lend of my credit card.”She chuckeld in his ear and shook her head slightly. “You don’t have to do that you know. You know that I can afford to pay for my addiction. And, as my Life Mate, aren’t you meant to be making me more sensible about such things? Though of course now you’ve offered, you know what we’re going to be doing all day tomorrow.” She ran her lips along his neck, kissing him gently. She wasn’t sure exactly what she was doing or why she was doing it, but she knew she’d have to kick Loki when she next saw him. She kissed his nose lightly, pulled back to look him square in the face and smiled at him. “Let’s go home. To yours. I’ll even let you poison me.” She smiled again and kissed him before wrapping her arms around him once more, not willing to let him go.[/blockquote]

Loki had to admit he was please with JD's reaction to him coming onto the dance floor. The man's tongue however seemed to have a knack to wipe all apparent thought from his mind. Utterly killing the comment that was undoubtedly to follow, Loki rarely every shut up. If Roxi had been paying strict attention at that moment she probably would of fallen off the bar stool laughing at him. Finally met his match? Loki decided it would just be best to follow the other man and not think on it. Several people glanced at them as they made their way through the mass of bodies, Loki ignored any of the glancing coming his direction causing more than a few scowls, he also made a point that people could see their hands so the guys looking at JD would also back off.
Usually JD wasn't territorial, there was always another hot guy or girl around the corner and due to his race he was generally encouraged to go with every damned one of them. Something which he did … But he also knew he would be damned hard pressed to find another guy as hot as this, even in this bar. Plus... he was a bar tender! They where like the holy grail... the hardest kind to pick up. They got hit on probably no less that 50 times a day so you had to be something interesting for them to even give you a second glance.
As JD's arms snaked around his waist his did the same, closing the distance between them till it was practically non existent. He didn't really pay much attention to the song, it wasn't really his style and he could dance to pretty much anything. Roxi liked watching Dance off's. Loki loved being centre of attention. It was a good combination and as such he was an awesome dancer.
“Gotta say it, best damned JD I think I have ever had.”
He smirked as he laughed lightly, the laughing coming straight from his chest so JD probably hearing it from directly their due to the way he was looking up at him.

“Gotta say it, best damned JD I think I have ever had.”
Jack laughed and slipped his hand into one of Loki’s back pockets. As a bartender, he tended to have his pick of the guys in the bar; for some reason they always hit on him thinking that he’d get them free drinks. Of course, he could do that if he wanted, but generally he preferred people to buy him drinks, not the other way around. But, as he could potentially get any guy in here, it took a lot to get him to notice one. And gods had Loki done that. He wasn’t sure what it was about him, but he could see himself getting addicted to this guy. Sure, the fact he had mixed abilities and was hanging around with a cat (who he called his sister, no less) had caught his attention, but his personality and blatant sexuality had kept it from wandering.
He kept himself close to Loki as they danced through what he assumed was a few songs, though to be honest he couldn’t tell where one started and the other ended. At one point, a dance off broke out in true Barcode style, and it took all of Jacks will power not to show them what dancing actually looked like. From the move’s Loki was throwing around with him, he had a feeling that they could both take the two of them on and win easily enough, but he had better things on his mind.
As the contest two wonnabe dancers finished up, he slid his arm around Loki’s waist and let his fingers trail absently along the top of his jeans. He inspected the nails on his other hand before looking casually round to him and grinning. “So. Your place or mine?”
