Jack was in the bar, looking at the clock on the wall. Five minutes until he could leave. Well, five minutes until he could go to the other side of the bar. There really was little point in him moving to another bar when he could just as easily jump over the bar and get served here. Plus, he tended to get free drinks from the humans he served or worked with, so it was all good to him.
He looked around at the bar which was surprisingly empty as most people were currently stood on the dance floor watching some god awful woman strut around in barely anything ... He normally wouldn’t complain at that, but hell way she was singing was giving him a head ache. And, was that lyric meant to be a euphemism? Good God!
He shook his head, knowing full well that this song was going to be stuck in his damn head all night now. Thankfully, she was just about finishing up on stage now so, by the time he’d finished work he wouldn’t have to listen to her vocals; he was sure that they’d put him off drinking.
Okay, that wouldn’t happen, but it might have made it so he wanted to find another bar. Another bar where he wouldn’t get as many free drinks. Working at Barcode defiantly had its benefits; hot guys buying him drinks for one. And he got away with wearing his cowboy boots and hats a lot easier than he did at other bars.
He looked up at the clock again. One minute to go. Just one more min-
“JACK! Customer!” Jack growled as his boss shouted over to him and pointed to the end of the bar. Why she couldn’t have served them, he had no idea. He turned to give her a well practiced glare then realised what had her attention. The singer seemed to have managed to go from next to no clothing to Holy-Crap-I’m-Blind in two seconds flat. Again, he wouldn’t normally complain, but … ew. There was attractive and then there were people trying to be attract attention and failing for the all the wrong reasons and this singer was so far in that latter category it was unbelievable.
Not able to tear his eyes away from the train wreck that was her outfit, he shouted over his shoulder to the customer waiting. ”Yes mate, what you having?” [/blockquote]

Roxanne had heard that a new musician had been playing at Barcode and, as it was one of her favourite bars, she had persuaded Loki to come along. In actual fact, it hadn't taken much persuasion, all she had to do was mention that it was a place that guys felt comfortable to wear very tight fitting clothes, and he'd shot out the door quicker than she could have said 'horny'.
Now she was here, however, she was disappointed. She had been told completely wrong. It was not a new, up and coming musician, it was one that had been on the market for a while and, judging by her outfit, she was getting desperate.
Thankfully, they had arrived too late and had only managed to catch the last part of her set. By the time they were sat at the bar, she was on her last song. Unfortunately, even though most of the crowd was on the dance floor, it seemed that all of the staff were completely fixated on the pelvic thrusts the singer was now doing.
She shot Loki a disgusted look. "What on earth makes her think that's attractive? She looks like she should be stood under a red light ... And what will it take to get a drink around here?" She looked over to the staff, muttering to herself. She wasn't usually so short tempered but she could feel Ethan's irritation through the link they now shared. It hadn't been long since they'd found out they were Life Mates and they still had a lot to sort out, including the insane annoyance that he felt for her going out with her brother. It didn't seem to matter that they were going to a gay bar; all that mattered was that she was out without him. He could be a real brat sometimes... She tapped her fingers on the bar surface, wishing she hadn't run out of matches. And lighter fluid. She knew that she could now create fire herself by focusing the heat on a tiny speck of dust, but it still made her anxious to be without them. Right now, she needed a drink to block out Ethan's pacing. "Yes mate, what you having?" Finally, some service! She looked up from her tapping and was amused to see that the guy was still fixated on the singer but obviously didn't look impressed. In fact, she'd go as far to say he looked pretty damn disgusted. "Erm, yeah! We'll have some Cosmo's please! That's if you can do them ... " She frowned slightly, unsure that he'd be able to make them. He didn't look like the type to be able to make cocktails, but hey, he was working in a gay bar so he should at least be able to find a bottle of ready made stuff and fake it.[/blockquote]

Loki had actually been planning on a night in. Not a sober night by any means but a night in. He'd actually managed to secure a brother sister evening free of the cat that had claimed his baby sister as a life mate. He still wanted to punch the stupid brat in the face to be perfectly honest but that was because he didn't like the idea of anyone violating his Roxi... He was a man of weird logic. Very odd crazy logic no-one could understand, expect for Roxi and she just tended to slap him for it. He was currently having fun with Ethan however.. every-time the cat growled at him he would yell Roooxii and get him yelled at. It was his new hobby. It hadn't exactly been an age since he had come into their lives but due to the whole life-mate thing it all seemed fast for Loki... Anything beyond eating dinner with someone and seeing them on a fairly often casual basis was enough to send Loki running for the hills.
Roxi had convinced him to go to a club. It hadn't really taken long. The fact they where going to an interesting bar where people wore lots of revealing clothes. Which meant he was free to wear said clothing and not have anyone say a thing to him. He did have a pair of normal black jeans on tonight however which where fairly low slung... but not around his ankles, and very snug fitting. He'd only had around 4 minutes to get ready after Roxi had told him about leaving so he'd flung on any old shirt out of his wardrobe and it had turned out to be a dark green silk thing he didn't know he owned. Luckily it didn't hang down to load and he left it unbuttoned practically to his belly button. The short sleeves strained a little on his arms... most likely a very old shirt...
"What on earth makes her think that's attractive? She looks like she should be stood under a red light ... And what will it take to get a drink around here?"
He glanced at Roxi and tried to push a little of his good cheer through their link, hoping to ease a little of the frustration that brat was probably pounding into her skull about now. He glanced at the woman and cringed. Oh god what on earth was she doing. Loki actually considered going up there and stealing the mic to save the poor patrons from her dire music sense. His confidence however had still taken a bit of a blow thanks to his now awfull erratic terra ability popping up and growing to annoying new levels. There was also the fact that Loki was putting his Fuocian stubbornness into effect and was refusing to acknowledge it... and refusing to acknowledge the l5 mini earth quakes he'd made in the last week... the newspapers where having fun with it though.
“I believe she wants to be naked but got told she wasn't alowed so she setteled for the next best thing.” He grinned and bumped her slightly as they went up to sit on the bar, Loki was still oddly distracted by the woman on the stage. He sat down like still watching... it was like a car crash or a train wreck or something... you knew you really... really had to look in the other direction. But you just couldn't. "Yes mate, what you having?" Loki drew his eyes away from the train wreck for that, the voice was far more interesting than what he was currently subjecting himself to for unknown reasons. He was at least rewarded. Albeit the guy wasn't even looking their way but Loki really was not complaining about the view. Loki did like to oggle the bar candy... it was another of his favourite hobbies. "Erm, yeah! We'll have some Cosmo's please! That's if you can do them ... "Loki wrinkled his nose for a moment before deciding to order himself something else. He didn't really fancy one of them tonight and was in the mood for something a little stronger. Plus he really wanted to give the tender a reason to hurry up to turn around as Loki was pretty certain the front couldn't be much better than the front, that just wasn't fare to the other people of the world... unless you where talking about him of course. “”Jack Daniels on the rocks mate.” He spoke in his usually light hearted tone, probably a little bit in contrast to the rather more sarcastic Roxi at his side. As the made turned around Loki was once again rewarded. Okay, so the front was as good as the back, this was one guy he would not like to have as a wingman that was for sure, he would however be perfect for other activities. He grinned and leaned forward casually on the bar. Leaning a little out of the range of Roxi's hand for when she planned on slapping him around the head... damned little sister never let him even say Hi to some one.. and that was all he was doing... really. “Hi, I'm Loki Andvari” [/blockquote]

Jack smiled as he heard a female voice respond to his question. Quite a cute voice too. He turned around and before he saw her, he saw a flash of black fur and fangs. Were cat, typical. And she was cute too. He probed slightly deeper and saw the tell tale recent power surge, showing that she’d found her Life Mate; well it was alright for some. Judging from the way she was huffing and puffing, though, he guessed that lover boy wasn’t too happy with her being here.
“Jack Daniels on the rocks mate.” He turned to the man stood next to him and got a quick flash of fire. That was probably why Mr. Cat wasn’t too happy with her being out. He was gorgeous. But, judging from where they were, he didn’t have anything to worry about.
”That an offer?” he asked, letting his eyes slip down the Fuocos open shirt as he did. He threw him a quick grin to him, then turned to get the ingredients for the cocktail. ‘If you can do them’ indeed. He was the best damn cocktail maker this bar had ever seen! Crystal had already asked him to make a batch up every night before he laves as people specifically requested his. He turned back to the pair at the bar and raised his eyebrow to the brunette. He threw in all the different mixers, juices and spirits, purposely making it more flashy as he did. When he’d done, he threw the shaker around, using his telekinesis to make sure it always came back to him, then poured it into and oversized cocktail glass. He grinned at her and winked before sliding the glass down the bar towards her, making sure that it didn’t spill and stopped before it went all over her. “There you are Kitty Cat. It’ll blow your mind.” He turned to the Fuoco and grinned as he introduced himself. “Hi, I’m Jack Daniel. You can call me JD.” He pulled the ice tray closer to him and winked at him. ”How do you want me?” [/blockquote]

Roxi raised her eyebrows in astonishment as the bar tender threw the shaker everywhere and didn’t seem to drop it. There had to be something more to him than met the eye. She did a quick sniff test and came to the conclusion he was an Elemental, but any more than that she couldn’t tell. Even though she’d spent twenty years in the presence of the Elemental’s, she still hadn’t quite managed to separate the scent of each Tribe; they all smelt the same to her. Looking at how he was throwing that thing and managing to catch it, even when it seemed to be heading straight for the ground made her think that he must have telepathic abilities, something that was usually reserved for Terra’s.
“There you are Kitty Cat” She looked up at him, just about managing to stifle the growl in her throat. She didn’t know why she was growling, to be honest, but she could still feel Ethan’s general irritation and it was making her snappy. The sooner she had a drink in her the better. At least then she could send drunken vibes down the link to calm him a little.
She took a sip, which turned into more of a gulp, then sent the sudden buzz down the line to her Mate. She immediately realised her mistake when it just made him more edgy. She’d be lucky if he didn’t come down to the bloody club soon. Thank God she ‘forgot’ to tell him where they were heading.
She felt her phone vibrating in her pocket and groaned, taking another sip of her drink and ignoring it. She tapped Loki on the shoulder and frowned when he didn’t respond.
“Hi, I'm Loki Andvari”
She glared at the back of his head, putting her glass back on the table. She felt a twinge of amusement as Ethan picked up on her irritation with Loki, and threw up her shields, drowning out both of their emotions. Before she was able to give him a whack up side the head, however, she was interrupted by the bar tender sliding the ice tray towards them.
“Hi, I’m Jack Daniel. You can call me JD. Where do you want me?”
“Oh, no... Please don’t encourage him! He’ll be intolerable for the rest of the night, and I’ve got to go home with him.” She groaned to herself, wondering if she should just give up and go back home. Realising that that was what Ethan was hoping would happen, she decided to stick it out as long as she could.
She looked between the two of them and sighed, giving Loki a whack around his head just for traditions sake.

“That an offer?”
Loki grinned as he watched the other man's eyes drop to his chest, not even bothering to hide it. Not that Loki minded in the damned slightest. He was quite happily doing the same thing. It was always a rare but very good thing to find some one that was like him. It cancelled out all of the uncomfortable point of the ogling and people getting the idea he was a bit of a man-whore. As if there was anything wrong with that.
He watched with a pretty impressed look on his face as the man mixed the drinks. Feeling the subtle use of powers as he mixed the drinks and realised that man was possibly someone from the supernatural community. He glanced at Rox who seemed vaguely unconcerned so assumed he was an Elemental of some kind or other. He didn't recognise him so he took it as a given and a hope he wasn't one of the elemental's that saw him as a lesser person due to his dual abilities.
“Hi, I’m Jack Daniel. You can call me JD. How do you want me?”
Loki smile spread for multiple reason's, the fact he wasn't showing any signs of insulting him and the fact that there was a damned hot guy hitting on over the bar. Before he had much of an opportunity to respond Roxi cut in. Loki rolled his eyes before grabbing an ice cube of the tray in front of JD, sticking it into his mouth as he gave his crazy little kitten sister a chance to rant before he could continue with his conversation. Trying to do it the other way round would he like swimming up stream. The ice cube Entirely melted within around a second of it touching his mouth. Since the day in the park his body temperature had shot up again, It had taken a few days with his father to get back to the point where he could touch people without scalding them. Now he just felt like he'd been sat on a really hot radiator.
“Oh, no... Please don’t encourage him! He’ll be intolerable for the rest of the night, and I’ve got to go home with him.”
He closed his eyes and waited for the slap that was coming before shaking it off as a regular occurrence. Grinning at Roxi for a brief second before turning back to JD.
“Don't mind the crazy kitten over there, she's just a little tense at the moment.”
He shrugged his shoulders and leaned on the bar, probably making Roxi cringe with the fact his muscles where even flexing at that singular move. This shirt really was a good choice for this bar. Considering he had just grabbed it and ran. “And JD I'll take you any way you damned well please.” [/blockquote]

Jack laughed as the cat hit Loki over the head, guessing that it was a regular occurrence from the way he tensed before hand. He studied them briefly, surprised by their relationship. Normally, Elementals seemed to be rather apprehensive about being around Were's of any kind, and vice versa. If these youngster's were able to get on so well, it boded well for the whole movement. Not that he cared anymore, but it was still nice to see.
“Don't mind the crazy kitten over there, she's just a little tense at the moment. And JD I'll take you any way you damned well please.” He nodded as Loki said what he'd already guessed. The poor girl seemed to be so wound up at the moment, he was wondering why she'd even bothered to come out; her other half obviously wasn't letting her relax.
He did notice, however, that she seemed to be loosening up, albeit rather slowly. He turned to the side and started to pour her another drink. He looked out of the corner of his eye at her and grinned, seeing why she was starting to loosen up.
Around her, there was a slight sheen to the air. Anyone else wouldn’t be able to see it, and to be perfectly honest it was surprising that he could, it must be one of those rare times that everything just worked together to allow him to see it. He grinned, seeing the link between her and Loki, not quite touching her. Their link, whilst still strong, was nothing compared to the one linking her to her Life Mate. And the fact that she had blocked both seemed to be doing strange things to the out going emotions.
He turned back with a pitcher full of Cosmopolitans and put it in front of her. “Here, this’ll help. I made it stronger too. Loosen up! Oh, and you might want to unshielded yourself, it’s making the emotions that you’re sending out more intense.” He turned to Loki and grinned at him. “And to you darling, any where, any how. I just have one thing to ask of you first…” He leaned in closer to him, indicating that he should do the same. “Hold onto this a sec.” He handed him his cowboy hat, revealing a red bandanna underneath it. “Do not drop it. It’s more than you’re life’s worth, hot stuff.”He grinned once more to him, adding a wink for the hell of it. Turning around to make sure no one was looking, or more specifically his boss, he placed both his hands on the bar and bolted over. He used his telekinesis and pulled a bar stool next to Loki and landed on top of it. He slammed his hand on the bar top and looked over to where his boss was now stood sulking that the show was over. “Hey! Crystal! Two JD’s on the rocks here please! Pronto!” He turned back to Loki and his sister, smiling at them both. “I’ll get this round. Oh, and I’ll have the hat back please.” [/blockquote]

“Don't mind the crazy kitten over there, she's just a little tense at the moment. And JD I'll take you any way you damned well please.”
Roxi growled at Loki, this time for no particular reason. She was feeling tense, but thanks to shielding herself from Ethan and Loki, it was starting to pass. She still wasn’t used to having three peoples emotions running through her. Two sets had been bad enough, but she was able to deal with it; her and Loki generally felt the same way. But Ethan and Loki didn’t get on. At all. That meant that when she spent time with one, the other was sulking. And when she spent time with both, they both sulked. It was enough to drive anyone insane and it regularly did.
She just wished that they’d learn to get along. They didn’t need to like each other, but having both their ill feelings flowing through her system was making her dislike them both intensely. If they could just work stuff out, it’d be so much easier, but neither of them seemed to realise just how hard they were making it on her.
Loki wasn’t used to sharing her, and she wasn’t used to having to be shared. She often forgot meetings with Ethan in favour for trips to the pub with Loki. Then she over compensated and spent days with her mate. She knew she needed to find the balance, but so did they.
“Here, this’ll help. I made it stronger too. Loosen up! Oh, and you might want to unshielded yourself, it’s making the emotions that you’re sending out more intense.”
Roxi jumped as a large pitcher full of Cosmo’s was slid in front of her, completely forgetting where she was. She smiled apologetically to JD, hoping that her mood wasn’t bugging him. But judging from the way he was looking at her brother, she doubted he’d registered it.
She took another gulp of her drink, finishing it off. As she poured herself another one, she took a deep breath, lowering her shields just as JD flew over the bar and landed on a seat the other side of Loki.
As he spoke to both of them, she sent out apologetic vibes to Ethan, hoping that it would placate him. Then his emotions registered in her mind.
She jumped up and prodded Loki repeatedly until he managed to tear himself away from JD. “We have a problem. Ethan’s on his way and he is so not happy. And he hasn’t seen what you chose for me to wear tonight.” She indicated to the skin tight leather trousers and sparkly, backless top that he’d shouted at her to wear whilst he was getting dressed. Ethan didn’t tend to like it when Loki chose her outfits, but as it was tradition, she hadn’t stopped it. The fact Loki knew he didn’t like it made him choose the most outrageous outfits that he could; tonight was his more conservative of choices. She looked up at him and panicked, realising just how pissed Ethan was going to be. She knew Loki would find it highly amusing, but hoped that he’d be a nice big brother to her just this once. “Please please please let me change. I have spare clothes in the car for when I shift. Please? He’ll go nuts…” She sent Loki a dose of her panic, hoping that that would help him make the right choice. She so did not want Ethan to see her in this.[/blockquote]

Loki glanced over his shoulder at Rox as JD slid the pitchers over to her, he was getting a nice triple dose of her irritation pumping into him thanks to his shield's but he was doing his best tactic of pushing it to the back of his mind. He was excessively trying to stay in good cheer as any fluctuations in his emotions these days where coming out in the form of his terra-pathic ability. Earth quakes where starting to get get all to common for his liking and even though only a few people knew it was him who had cause the few in the last few weeks he really hoped they would just bloody go away at some point.
“And to you darling, any where, any how. I just have one thing to ask of you first…Hold onto this a sec. Do not drop it. It’s more than you’re life’s worth, hot stuff.”
Loki took the hat, and relaxed onto the bar, enjoying the view again as he jumped over the bar. The use of telekinesis to bring the bar stool over him didn't phase him the slightest. His mother had the same ability so items moving on their own accord. It did however give him the idea that JD was a Terra after all.
Hey! Crystal! Two JD’s on the rocks here please! Pronto!”
He didn't really miss a beat as he added onto the end. “Doubles!”
He offered that hat back to JD as he paid for the drinks, people seemed to be doing that a lot for him these days. Not that he was complaining really, Loki could drink any bar out of shot glasses without really trying. Blaming Roxi for it.. he'd had to spend the last twenty years trying to keep up with here were metabolism. As such he actually had a higher tolerance than most.
As he went to speak again he was distracted by prodding of his shoulder... first answer there would be, well, Ow. Ok Rox wasn't overly strong but she really could poke hard. He did however hold in the ow and just turned around to smile at her, getting a slam of panic from her that he really had to use all of his effort to control. Really not wanting to cause an earthquake in the bar. He was pretty much maxed out now on control and was seriously praying that nothing else happened to push him over the edge. His body temperature already dropping slightly as it tended to do when his other ability rose up these days.
“We have a problem. Ethan’s on his way and he is so not happy. And he hasn’t seen what you chose for me to wear tonight.”
Loki actually growled... something he had picked up from Roxi and developed since he'd gained his panther form.
“Please please please let me change. I have spare clothes in the car for when I shift. Please? He’ll go nuts…”
He tensed his muscles as the area tremored lightly before he reeled in his control again. If they carried on he was seriously going to stop leaving the house... Which would be an absolute crying shame. He breathed out and hoped that no one picked up on the fact the stupid bloody earthquake had come from him, he knew Roxi would probably know but she was too concerned with the stupid brat right now.
“I swear he is like a 12 year old Brat, I practically had to negotiate this night in the bloody first place.”
He grumbler before fishing out his car keys and holding them up for Rox, pretty much trying desperately to keep his ability reigned in rather than arguing the point further. When he was less at risk of causing earthquakes in the middle town he would so be throwing a fire ball or two at Ethan. He would miss... of course. But it was still good to throw the fireball at him.

Jack grinned as he took his hat back from Loki. He saw Crystal raise her eyebrow in his direction as she poured their drinks, knowing full well that he didn’t give his hat to anyone. He just shrugged as she walked over and took his money. He’d be having a conversation with her tomorrow; he wouldn’t be able to avoid it now. She wouldn’t let him avoid it.
He turned back to Loki, giving him his drink and leaning casually up against the bar. He might have to take tonight slow, instead of his usual race to get as hammered as he could. It has been a while since he was in the company of another elemental. At least, one that he wanted to remain in the company of. He still had visits from the guys in the army, asking him when he was going to sober up and come back, saying that they could really do with him back on board, that they hadn’t been able to find another Reader, or at least not one as good as he was. Personally, he just wished they’d all shove off. He didn’t want anything to do with that life any more; he wasn’t through with running from it yet.
He threw back his drink, welcoming the familiar warmth as it slid down his throat. He dropped it back on the bar, ready to order another drink, maybe something weaker as he didn’t want to get too plastered too quickly. Just as he was about to order, however, Kitty interrupted him.
“We have a problem. Ethan’s on his way and he is so not happy. And he hasn’t seen what you chose for me to wear tonight.” Jack smiled to himself, mentally complimenting Loki on his choice of outfit. If she were his mate, he’d have her dressed like that all the time, though he supposed he could see how her actual mate wouldn’t be too impressed. Especially as another guy picked it out for her.
He heard Loki growl, which startled him slightly; it wasn’t exactly something that Elementals did. But then, most Elementals didn’t spend any sort of time with a cat, some aspects of her personality were bound to rub off on him.
“Please, please, please let me change. I have spare clothes in the car for when I shift. Please? He’ll go nuts…” He shook his head, wondering what on earth she saw in him. She had to see something or they wouldn’t be life mates. He didn’t really understand the whole idea of it, but then again, most Elementals didn’t; they didn’t really care that much about their enemy’s way of life.
He was about to comment on this, when he felt the earth tremble slightly. Recognising it as a Terra’s ability, he searched around, looking for its source; as the epicentre was almost directly below, it had to be someone around the bar, but he didn’t seem to be picking up on any Terra’s.
He turned back, just in time to hear Loki’s annoyed reply. He felt another very slight tremble, as if the Terra had managed to get it under control, but some of the annoyance was still leaking out. He looked briefly to the floor then back to Loki, completely confused. He was definitely the only other Elemental in the bar, and as Jack was defiantly not doing it, some how the Fuoco in front of him was.
He watched as Kitty moved to make her way passed him, and stuck his arm out, managing to grab her around the waist. He turned quickly on his seat and pulled her to his lap, shaking his head at her. “ What are you running off for?! Any guy in their right mind would be thrilled to see you wearing that, I know I am! And besides, I thought you were going to relax?” He grinned and reached behind him, grabbing the pitcher and handing it to her. She just glared at him, growling. He ignored it and turned back to Loki. “Now, my darling Fuoco, I believe you have a little Terra in you!” He felt the cat tense on his lap, probably reacting from Loki’s reactions and leant in closer to the pair of them, whispering his next. “Would you like some more?” He grinned broadly then laughed along as Kitty burst out laughing, glad to have finally managed to break the ice with her. He handed her the pitcher once more and this time she took it, drinking directly from it, taking it down in gulps. As soon as she drank her fill, she set it down behind her and grinned at the pair of them, taking Jack’s hat and putting it one. Jack glared at her. “Uh, no. No one gets to wear that apart from …” He looked down at her, then grinned. “Actually, that looks a damn site better than it probably does on me, you can keep it.” She all but squealed at him and threw her arms around him, winding him as she gave him a bear hug. He didn’t realise just how strong were cat’s could be… [/blockquote]

Ethan was driving fast, Very bloody fast.
When Roxi's emotions had spiked there was no chance he was going to be able to just sit around his library or delve into a game or some sort. Annoyingly so, she had her bloody shield up. Which meant he couldn't find find her using their link as mates. He'd tried phoning her but she was ignoring her phone and she had not given him the name of the bar where they where going. All of these things had culminated into a very stressed Ethan pacing back and forth in his living room. It had only taken maybe a second of consideration for him to decide to track the GPS signal of her phone. He flicked his laptop open and a few minutes later had the information transferred to his iPhone which he promptly stuck the head phones in.
He hadn't actually paid any attention to getting dressed as he had not long gotten back from a ride on his bike around town, something he had done to calm his stresses about Loki and Roxi going out on the town. He was trying to be good about it... and personally he thought he was doing damned well. As such he was wearing a pair of leathers and no shirt. He threw on his biking Jacket and left it open. Running purely on auto pilot and he jumped on his bike, the sat nav now in his ears giving him directions.
His bike whipped through the street way to fast but he was generally un-carring about it all. He wanted to get to Roxi now and find out what on earth was going on.
He swung his bike into a car park practically one step away from the door, kicking up gravel and coming to a screeching halt. A few people stopping to admire his bike and a few glancing at his bare chest. He took his helmet off and held it under his arm, kicking the locking mechanism into position on the wheel, he'd never been a fan of the chain locks so this had been the obvious choice.
He ran his hand through his hair, spiking it up to it usual style before strolling into the bar as if he owned the place. But then Ethan did that to every single room he walked into. As if he really wanted to it wouldn't really phase him to just buy the bar.
Roxi had lowered her shields now so he followed the pull towards her, keeping his face a blank mask as he caught sight of her... sitting in the lap of a man. Only her bare expanse of back showing towards him and the other man's arms around her. Not for the first time Ethan thanked his father for all the training he had at hiding his emotions. He was pretty good at it... He was at least keeping his ability in check. Although the air of irritation around him was practically palpable. His hand did twitch lightly, longing for the use of his ability to lay destruction to something, or to use his other now enhanced ability on the man with his arms around his life mate... Although if he did... ANY of that Roxi would probably kick him in the shin... He would much rather get her out of here and go some where nice...
“Rox?”
He spoke generally calmly but even though he wasn't using a suggestion or a request there was a subtle leak of power in the words that he couldn't hold back. He had noticed that his ability now on a smaller scale seemed to make it impossible for people not to listen to him when he spoke, much like his father, and he was still having issues reigning it in. Roxi was finally able to relax fully thanks to JD hitting on her brother. So it wasn't the most conventional of ways to break the ice, but by saying what he had, he'd managed to make light of something that had been in the back of Loki's mind since the day in the park. Roxi had tried to bring it up with him, but had totally chickened out.
She downed as much of the drink as she couldof JD's cocktail, feeling the alcohol starting to work it's magic on her. She looked up at JD and grinned, taking his hat from him. She didn't know why she did it, but at that point she didn't particularly care either; she just wanted to wear his cowboy hat.
"Uh, no. No one gets to wear that apart from... Actually, that looks a damn site better than it probably does on me. You can keep it" Roxi grinned and threw her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug. Probably a bit too tight, but she saw well on her way to being drunk.
She grinned at Loki, and twisted around to pour herself another glass, totally forgetting about her mate and the impending doom her outfit. That was until she felt a stab of anger from him.
"Rox?"
She turned around, wide eyed, just as Ethan's voice floated across the club. Since they'd both found each other, their powers had grown, much more than they'd both expected them to. As such, the power of Ethan's voice had grown. It used to be that some humans, normally those who were particularly susceptable, would never be able to ignore it. Now, no one could. Not even her.
She immediatly jumped up, stopping herself short of throwing herself on him. As much as Loki teased her otherwise, she wasn't quite ready to make that step. They still had too much to sort out.
She took a subtle deep breath and walked towards him, feeling a mix of emotions from all sides; Loki's annoyance at his evening with her being cut short and Ethan's annoyance at her being out with Loki. And his annoyance at her outfit. And, was that jealousy? Was he seriously jealous of her sitting on some guys lap? Some guy who was hitting on her brother. It wasn't as if she didn't do that with him. Well, when he was being nice and not annoying her.
"What are you doing here hunni?" Even though she hadn't done anything wrong, she immediatly took the defensive. She went and kissed him gently, hoping to put his mind at ease. Even though he knew there was nothing to worry about, for some reason he still was insanely jealous of the time she spent with Loki and any of the human males they bumped into. "Erm, do you want a drink? JD just bought a round, but I could get you something?" [/blockquote]

Loki grinned as JD grabbed Rox and planted her firmly on his lap – oh this was going to be hilarious when the brat arrived. He couldn't help grinning at the frown Rox was currently aiming at JD. She really did need to lighten up, since finding her mate she had been tense a lot and he put the entire of the blame with the Prince. Ok so he wasn't exactly being the most accepting brother in the world but his little sister was his pub going buddy and Alcohol was generally what he needed at the moment, it was the best was of ignoring the growth of his powers. He'd though Rox was going to bring it up with him at some point but she had always backed out. Something which was perfectly good with him.
“Now, my darling Fuoco, I believe you have a little Terra in you!”
Loki attention went straight back to JD for a second and he pretty much froze not knowing exactly what to say to that. He could feel Roxi tense through their link as well, pretty much telling him she hadn't forgotten about it at any point. Before he had much of a chance to comment on it however JD moved in closer and whispered to them both.
“Would you like some more?”
Rox burst out laughing first as Loki took a few moments to register what he had actually said before he went back to his smile as Rox practically tried to drown herself in the jug of alcohol. He grabbed his drink and downed it in one, just to let the burn gloss over the tense last few moment. He took the ice with it at well, drinking them down within the second it took for them to melt. Dropping the empty glass down on the bench before turning back to JD after his sister had just stolen his hat. Which he had to admit... Rox looked good in hats. They were so going shopping next week...
“From you mate, any time...”
Again he was interrupted – this was becoming a bit of a habit tonight. This time it was the Brat. “Rox?” God his extended power was annoying. He wanted to ignore him but he had no choice but to listen the four year old child. He rolled his eyes to JD as Rox jumped over to him. He leaned forward to whisper to JD, just so he could lean forward and do it.. Ethan and Rox would most likely here him unless they were to distracted with each other. Ethan tended to get into a point where he could only hear his own pompous voice. “That there is my sister's pompous life mate. Feel free to refer to him as the Brat Prince. Every one else does.” He laughed as he leaned back before glancing over at Ethan. God he was seriously an attention seeker. Topless barring a leather jacket and leather pants... He had to admit the man was attractive but Loki couldn't dwell on that... He was still the man who was going to be violating his little sister... [/blockquote]

"Rox?"
Jack turned around as the voice rolled across the room. There was no choice in the matter, he had to. It was a compulsion that he appeared to share with everyone in the room; everyone had stopped what they were doing in order to listen to him. Even Crystal, who had an intense dislike to men and could only just put up with him, was staring open mouthed at him, half way through pulling a pint.
As he turned, he saw a flash of claws and fur almost identical to Roxi. He didn't really need this vision however, as he'd already guessed it was her Life Mate. Upon seeing him, he recognised him immediatly. If it weren't for Kitty running over to him, he'd have done the same, only his run up wouldn't have ended with a kiss. This was one of the cats that he had been trained to attack upon sight. And it was more than that; if it weren't for him and his Family, he's family would still be around.
He shook his head and turned back to Loki, clearing his head from these thoughts. He poured himself some of Kitty's cocktail, downing it, trying to drown out the memories as he always did.
"That there is my sisters pompous Life Mate. Feel free to refer to him as Brat Prince. Everyone else does."
Jack smiled as Loki laughed. There was obviously no love lost between the pair. He looked back over to the pair behind them, trying to see him without his normal discrimination; he'd managed to do it with Kitty, so he should be able to do it with him.
He was definatly good looking, there was no doubt about that. And in his leathers, he looked down right devine, but he also looked ... Stuck up. It was like he thought he was too good to be here or something. Jack wondered if the Brat Prince had actually worked out he was in a gay bar yet, that would be amusing when he did...
And if he had to help bring on that realisation? Well, that didn't bother him.
"He's attractive, but I don't get on with cats... I prefer real men" He grinned at Loki, then turned to Crystal once more. "Same again please, love!" [/blockquote]

“What are you doing here hunni? Erm, do you want a drink? JD just bought a round, but I could get you something?"
Ethan raised an Eyebrow to the question of when he was doing here... she obviously hadn't realised she had been broadcasting her emotions straight into his brain through a flipping loud speaker. He took a quick glance around the room, realising that people where only just managing to pull their attention away from him thanks to their ability. The man who's lap she had previously been occupying was now leaning towards that darn brother of hers. He was pretty much ignoring the pair and trying to bring his gift under control, he was however picking up bits and pieces from Loki such as brat prince. Charming.
He tried to speak in a lower voice and keep his stress out of it, hoping to not draw the attention of every damned person in the bar all over again.
“Well after the broadcasting of your emotions slamming into my brain I didn't exactly have much of a choice...”
"He's attractive, but I don't get on with cats... I prefer real men"
Ethan tilted his head to one side at that... He didn't know which was worse. The fact he was saying that he wasn't a real man or the fact that the man was calling him attractive. He could tell Roxi was trying to put his mind at ease, but it wasn't really working. Although it wasn't blatantly obvious on his face he was pretty uncomfortable here.
“Drink? I might stay for one then I guess but I was wondering if you would be interested in having a nice meal? I promise I'm a great cook?” Ethan grinned using the full extent of his charm and hoping that she would agree. It hadn't been long since they had found each other and he was dying to spend more time with her. They had spent several days with each other on and off but he had realised that he hadn't even show her his home yet. Unlike all of his brothers Ethan actually had his own home, away from his family. He never used to spend an abundance of time there but since the relationship between him and his brother had become strained at the best of times. He also wanted he to know that he didn't actually live under the same room as his brother. He moved to walk towards the bar dropping his hand the Roxi's bare expanse of back. More out of general instinct reaction actually and he really hoped that she wouldn't elbow him in the side for it...[/blockquote]
