It had been around four weeks since the beach party, with the fun awkwardness that had been seeing Dragon again. At the time she still couldn't pin point the reason why the fire elemental had managed to get into her head so badly. Seeing Jack again hadn't exactly helped either but the strangest thing was that she felt nothing at all for the Earth elemental. Not even disdain, more just annoyance that he was there and apparently dating her Loki-bear. The party had still been good but she hadn't really spoken to anyone since, not even the amazing Dragon. She didn't know if he had been trying to call her because she'd thrown her phone of the balcony after another mood swing. Something that she was seriously having a lot of lately which was not her normal personality.
Well at least now she knew why. She was pregnant.
It had been a good few weeks now since she had gotten herself entirely drunk, she hadn't realised she had been doing it at first but she had been avoiding alcohol and drugs for ages and she only clicked what she had been doing a few days ago, which was when she finally gave in and went and got a test.
She was shaken from her thoughts by her stomach complaining at her, Rory pretty much had long standing issues of forgetting to eat dinner or breakfast… of food in general. Even though she was now… Erg, even thinking the word was bad… she had actually lost weight. Likely due to the fact she was stressing of what of earth she was supposed to do. She was not fit to be a parent, heck she was 19. Most Elementals where near there 40's or older by the time they settled down and had kids but here she was knocked up at sodding 19 years old with a man she'd only met twice and likely had no idea that she was a 19 year old drug addicted alcoholic.
This was just bad in many… many ways.
Her house was currently meticulously clean, she'd cleaned every surface probably a hundred times or more and she'd locked all of her alcohol and drugs away on the side. Which looking back she couldn't work out why she had done that because she was not keeping the thing inside her. No one deserved to grow up with people who did not want or could not handler a child, heck she was living proof of that and there was no way in hell she could do this on her own and she was very doubtful that Dragon would be at all interested in looking after the kid.
She wasn't a girlfriend and the two of them where barely on first name basis. She knew him and Dragon and he knew her as Rory. The knowledge they had on each other outside of the bedroom consisted of that alone and the fact they where both Elementals. Not exactly a foundation to be having kids and what ever on.
That however didn't explain why she had called him a few hours ago. Her mood swinging between crying and anger at the man who had done this too her. The answer machine message probably hadn't made any sense to the other man at all. She knew she had managed to get the point out that he needed to get around to hers ASAP but there was probably some shouting and calling him every name under the sun in there some where as well. Something had just told her that she needed to tell him. Heck he was obviously older than her he might know what she could do about it, as Rory had no clue in the slightest. Her instincts where practically screaming at her as they do with most elementals but Rory didn't know where to look or what to do about it. That was pretty much the only reason she had relented to the point of telling Dragon that she was pregnant.
She trashed her flat twice when she had realised she had had to tell him. Even though she didn't want to, she couldn't keep it... he wouldn't want it. Heck even if she did keep it where on earth would she put it? Her loft was basically 3 rooms, a bathroom, bedroom and a kitchen/living room thing. Where on earth was a kid supposed to go. And seriously it had been barely 4 weeks and her instinct to avoid alcohol and everything else was starting to wear off, she was seriously craving her vices now.
By the time some one finally knocked on her door she had given up on cleaning as even her hands where now stinging from over use of bleach in the kitchen she practically never used. She'd slummed herself down by the door so she could easily open it when the guy finally arrived. She was actually quite surprised that he had turned up in the first place, as she really could not see why he would bother.
She reached up from her slumped position on the floor and knocked the door open. She'd taken all her bolts of when she had called him earlier as it usually took Rory around 10 minutes to even get her door open. This time she only had to knock the handle down, something which would likely baffle Dragon as she had phased him through her door when she had brought him back here, not bothering to take the locks of as she left them all done up - had been amusing when Dragon had gone to leave.
When the door pulled all the way open she dropped her hands down onto her lap and didn't even bother to look up. She was wearing a black slip dress that hung off her a little due to her weight loss. She knew she still had over a month or so before she even started showing but Rory was hoping to work out what to do to stop it from getting that far. She was really praying the hulking man person who had done this too her would fix it and soon.

Surprise didn’t really cover what Aiden was feeling as he listened to the voice mail on his mobile. It had taken a few plays for him to actually be able to understand what was being said. Okay, ‘said’ didn’t work. That implied calm and rational speech and that message was definitely not either of those things. In fact, he’d go as far as to say it was hysterical.
Just why the woman on the message was so hysterical, he couldn’t work out. But, judging from the long list of names she was rattling off at him, he guessed it was his fault.
He knew who it was, of course he did, her voice was annoyingly ingrained into his mind. As was the scent of her skin and the look on her face as she came. He just couldn’t bring himself to admit that; it’d mean admitting that he was still thinking about her, and there was no way he was going to do that.
He pushed his phone into his jeans pocket and ignored it as he went back to work. He pulled the body out of his boot and placed it in the middle of the empty car park. Turning back to his car, he pulled out cans of petrol and covered the body with it. Okay, so he didn’t need to do this, but he couldn’t be bothered with the effort of getting the fire to catch today, it was just too much like hard work.
He took a step back then took a deep breath before breathing out. Pouring all of his personal magick into his warm breath, he watched as the flames jumped to life. Using his fire manipulation, he threw it over to the body and encouraged it to burn at such a heat as to get rid of everything. There was no way for the human authorities to find this human scum, he was just another paedophile that had gone missing in London. He wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t even bother looking for him.
With a bored expression, he doused the flames and started to spread the ashes across the vacant lot. It was at times like these he wished he had an assistant, someone who would do this part for him. He hated doing housework. An Air elemental could be useful, or anything that could spread the ashes quicker and without any effort on his part.
As he finished spreading them, the wind picked up and pushed them even further, creating patterns in the air. Typical. If he had waited ten minutes, he wouldn’t have had to spread them in the first place.
He sighed and pulled his phone out of his pocket again. Listening to the message again, he mentally noted the address she’d left and walked back to his car. He had nothing to distract him now, so he set off in her direction. He pulled down the sun visor and studied his appearance. Maybe a stop off to clean up… He didn’t think she’d appreciate the covered-in-ash look … It wasn’t particularly becoming. He stopped off in a public bathroom known for housing the homeless at night. It stank, but no one ventured there during the day so no one would wander in and see him cleaning up. He took off his shirt and quickly burnt it in a similar way to the body, putting it in a bin the tramps obviously used to house a fire during the night. He started to unbuckle his belt to do the same with his trousers, but thought better of it. He wasn’t all that sure he had a spare set in the back of his car and he didn’t think it would be a good idea to turn up to a hysterical, ex-lay’s house in a shirt and boxers. After a quick wash in the sink, he returned to his car and set off for Rory’s loft apartment. Five minutes later, he pulled into a space outside her building. Yet another five minutes passed before he pulled his shirt on and walked up and knocked on her door. Excepting her to take a few minutes to open all the locks he’d noticed the last time he was there, he raised his hands to his chest and started to button his shirt. When the door opened a second later, however, he had only managed to do the one up, which annoyingly came undone as soon as he dropped his hands to his sides. He was shocked by her appearance. He hadn’t thought it was possible, but she’d become thinner and paler in the few weeks that had passed since he’s seen her at the beach party. Yet she seemed … healthier too. Okay, no, she didn’t. She looked tired and upset about something, but she had a flush to her cheeks that showed she wasn’t just a marble statue. That she wasn’t a vampyre. He took in the rest of her appearance as any other man would. He noticed the black dress that hung off her body and struggled not to pull her up by the wrist so he could push her up the wall and – He shook his head. This was exactly why he hadn’t wanted to come here. She was in his head enough as it was, seeing her again at the beach party had made it worse, and then there were people around to dilute the affect. Here, they were alone. It'd be so much easier to slide his hand up her dress and - He took a deep breath, willing the blood to return to his brain, and held out his hand to help her up. “So, what’ve I done?” [/blockquote]

Rory want to rail and scream and shout at him but now he was hear she couldn't seem to right now. Especially when he offered her his hand. She'd missed his skin, it was so much warmer than hers and Rory loved the heat. It had been one of the things about her that had seemingly baffled him when they had first met. He had grabbed her and tried to be all scary and what ever but nothing could keep the look of bliss that generally had crossed her features before. Loki was warm, don't get me wrong but Dragon just seemed to be that little bit warmer. It was also what Rory used to explain the reason her mind kept drifting back to him. It was just psychical – nothing else at all. Neither of them where relationship type people that was blatantly obvious. She didn't even know his name beyond Dragon after all and it had barely taken an hour... including the ride home... for them to end up in or around a bed.
He was probably going to kill her or something... getting pregnant like that must be like an insult or something to some one with position such as his. Albeit she knew practically nothing about that... well Rory generally knew nothing about Elemental either. Heck he was probably married and she had been a lay of a side. She'd never had to think of these things before today! Heck and now all these questions where swimming in her head. She wrapped an arm around her stomach protectively even though she didn't realised what she was actually doing... she wasn't keeping it why would she protect it from this man. She should be looking to protect herself. She shouldn't of called him...
But things where a bit better now... Or something. She couldn't really tell her head was a mess. Simply put she was not equipped to deal with this. She was suddenly very tired however and just wanted to go away and leave this mess behind. Nothing mad sense and it was at times like this she actually regretted the fact she had no idea how to follow her instincts and what ever. Apparently most people just seemed to know what to do about things but Rory just didn't get it. She was split in two. She felt more than heard Dragon breathe in which completely killed her thoughts and when he spoke the panic came screaming back again.
“So, what’ve I done?”
Rory started dumbfounded for a second before she remembered she hadn't actually told him yet. What had she expected him to just know that she was pregnant? That was ridiculous. Heck she hadn't known until three days ago even though she hadn't seemingly got trashed so badly since she had conceived the thing inside her. She glanced down to her hand in his when she realised that her other harm and still curled protectively across her stomach. She practically growled at her self and pulled her arm away and practically stomped her foot, her other hand still in Dragon as she seemingly got utterly pissed off at her own arm. Well she had reason! It was betraying her same and the rest of her bloody body. It was like it wanted to keep the thing even though she knew beyond all shadow of a doubt that she could not do this!
“You! What have you bloody done?!” She was speaking a little calmer than she had been on the phone but she was by no means calm. He grabbed his arm and dragged him into the middled of the room before pulling her hand from his and walking back over the the door. Religiously keeping her arms at her sides and not near her stomach as she did. Slamming the door shut and haphazardly throwing a few of the bolts on as an automatic reflex.
“ What have you bloody done I swear! MEN! Argh...” the calmness he was sending out was stressing her out further. He looked all relaxed with his shirt all open and his chest bare... Rory had to shake her head to stop her mind going down such a path, that was what had gotten her in this mess in the first place. Currently she couldn't even work out how to tell him.. everything was coming out in a complete and utter jumble and her head just seemed to be working weirdly. “Do you know that I don't actually know your name?! And what exactly do you even know about me? Heck I doubt you even know how old I friking am let alone anything else!”
Rory wasn't actually focusing on anything now but was just pacing back and forth in front of the door. Part of her mind was telling her this was bad for the baby and that she should listen to the man in front of her. That he could help or whatever. Rory doubted that he could, he would want absolutely nothing to do with her and this situation in the slightest and would likely wash his hands of it. There was also a large part of her mind telling her to get some food... as she couldn't actually remember the last time she had eaten and she was starting to feel a little light headed from her ranting. Dragon could have been speaking but she wasn't hearing him at all, nor was she looking at him, she was just pacing in front of the door like a caged tiger.
“It's Aurora by the way, I'm a total and utter fuck-up and a 19 year old Alcoholic along with a nice list of other things which would take me ages to bloody well go into. But thats not the kicker!” Rory abruptly came to a stop and turned to face him, actually meeting his eyes this time, her own seemingly darker than usual as she glared at him. “The kicker is that you, Mr Dragon man! Yes because that is what you have bloody done!”
She spoke kind of definitively as if she had actually gotten to the point of her rant and Idly realise she hadn't. She couldn't say the last part with venom in her voice or in a rant as when she thought about it she just felt defeated and wanted to curl up and die some where. Heck the world would probably be a better place with one less screw up kicking around the streets. The rant had left her voice and she practically whispered the last part. “I'm pregnant.” It was at the point the dizzy'ness that had been threatening took over and everything went black. Aiden watched as Rory curled her arms around her stomach protectively and cringed slightly. She felt like she had to protect herself against him. For some reason that hurt, more than he should, considering that that was what he had aimed for for so long. He took some comfort in the fact that her other hand was still in his, thought Goddess knew that he shouldn’t. He was trying to get her out of his mind and the touch of her cold skin against his wasn’t helping with that.
“You! What have you bloody done?!” He was glad to see that she had calmed down some since she’d left the message on his voice mail, but was still confused as to why she was so pissed off.
She dragged him into the middle of the room then went and locked the front door. His defences immediately came to the forefront of his mind as he started to feel threatened. Normally, he’d scoff at the very idea that a Scuro female could pose any form of threat to him, especially one so small and breakable, but something was telling him that this was one that he wouldn’t be able to fight. And everyone knew that an angered female was a dangerous one. They could be bloody devious without even knowing it.
He noticed that she’d plastered her arms to her side and took that as a sign that she was trying to control herself from lashing out at him in response to whatever crime he had committed against her.
“ What have you bloody done I swear! MEN! Argh...”
He mentally cringed, hoping that she wasn’t pissed at him for him not having come back to her bed. He’d had a few women do that to him before but no one had ever managed to trap him in their apartment before. And, judging by the way she was pacing, she had a lot on her mind and it was making her angry. If they could channel that anger into another, more … pleasant activity, it’d be fine. He really didn’t want to have to barbeque her if she tried anything else on.
“Do you know that I don't actually know your name?! And what exactly do you even know about me? Heck I doubt you even know how old I friking am let alone anything else!” He watched her continue pacing with a frown on his features. What had that got to do with anything? He never gave out his real name to anyone. Hell, quite frankly, she was lucky to have been given his nickname rather than a pseudonym like any of the other women he slept with. He never gave out any details about himself, ever. Which reminded him; how the hell had she gotten his phone number?!
“Well, to be quite honest, darlin’ I don’t know what your name has got to do with it. It’s not like we’re going to be seeing each other is it? And your age means nothing in our society. If you’re old enough to open your legs, it’s fine by the powers that be. Of course, they don’t say that, but they’re more interested in the procreation side of sex than anything else. You let me in darlin’ and that’s all that they care about.” He dropped himself onto her sofa and watched as she continued to pace, oblivious to what he’d just said to her. He suppressed an eye roll and rand his hands over his face. What the hell was he doing here anyway? He should have left her well alone, but for some reason that message had made him want to see her more than he would readily admit. He didn’t know why, but these past few days had had him thinking about her even more and, if he was completely honest with himself, he’d been looking for an excuse to come and see her. Though now he was here, he could work out why. The stupid woman wouldn’t stop pacing and it was getting on his nerves, not to mention getting him on high alert. And he hated feeling threatened by such a small thing. “It's Aurora by the way, I'm a total and utter fuck-up and a 19 year old Alcoholic along with a nice list of other things which would take me ages to bloody well go into.” Aiden nodded, not completely surprised by this. Despite what she’d said, he had actually looked her up. Call it one of his stalker moments or whatever. He wasn’t proud of it, and he most definitely wouldn’t admit it, but he was curious by the woman that had invaded his head so completely, so he’d looked her up on the database the Luce had given him access to. He knew this about her, but he couldn’t for the life of him work out why she was telling him this. “But thats not the kicker! The kicker is that you, Mr Dragon man! Yes because that is what you have bloody done!” He looked at her in complete confusion. They were back to what he’d done, whatever that was. Normally, when people accused him of something, he knew what it was they were accusing him of. Actually, now he came to think of it, no one actually accused him of anything, people generally knew better than to do that. He watched as the fight seemed to leave Rory and cocked his head as the confusion mounted. “I’m pregnant.” Shit. Well, at least that explains her mood. Before he had chance to think any further on that bit of information, however, Rory dropped to the floor. Holy Fuck! He jumped up and crossed the room in a single stride. He bent down and picked her up, completely at a loss as to what to do. He wasn’t used to caring for people that were unconscious, he didn’t have a clue how to get people to come round. Normally, that was exactly the opposite of what he was aiming for! He dropped her on the sofa and walked over to the sink and poured her a drink of water, cursing when it refused to stay cool in his hands. He was too panicked and his powers were leaking out around him. What the fuck could he do to stop it boiling in the glass?! He spotted the fridge/freezer and pulled open the door, almost dancing in relief when he spotted an ice tray. He emptied the lot into another glass and took it over to where Rory lay semi conscious on the sofa. Dropping to the floor beside her, he tipped the glass to her lips and sighed as water trickled through the ice into her mouth. He just hoped that the ice stayed put and didn’t decide to slam her in the face.[/blockquote]

When Rory started to come around the only thing she really noticed was that she was actually warm, as if she had fallen asleep in front of a radiator or something but that was not possible… her memory was a little fuzzy but she was pretty sure that she hadn't been drinking or anything which was usually the reason why she ended up waking up all groggy. Before she really started thinking one of her hands went back to her stomach again whilst the other searched out the source of the warmth. When her hand hind piping hot skin however her eyes shot open and the nearly jumped up. She would of if it had not been for the fact he was holding a glass of ice in front of her face. She eyed it suspiciously for a second in case the ice came out and smashed her in the face.
When she was satisfied that she was safe from any ice mishaps she drunk the last dregs of water from the bottom of the glass before trying to get her mind to focus again. She felt a lot calmer and relaxed that she had earlier and the thought of getting up and ranting some more was even more tiring. She sighed and turned on her side toward the source of the warmth. Remembering that her hand had hit skin a few seconds ago and her hand was still resting on some ones arm. She barely wanted to look and find out that it was some sort of dream because seriously… why would he stay? He had no reason to, she was just a lay and that was generally about it. Ignoring the fact she had been unable to get the guy out of her mind that was all he had been to her and she had had no delusions of anything else.
Rory wasn't one of those crazy girls that would throw a fit just because he hadn't come back to start a relationship and what ever with him. She had been happy with their arrangements as she really could not risk falling for some one and going through that pain all over again. She didn't want him to be another Jack and she was pretty sure she couldn't handle that again. It was pretty shocking that her liver had survived the mess she had been in the month following what had happened with him. Idiot man person. It had been different with Dragon however, they had both known that neither one of them had been looking for a relationship; they had both known what they were after
She finally glanced up and even though she was touching him now and looking at him she still believe he was really there. She was just going insane. That was it. He had no reason to stay and he had likely fled the building the second she had passed out and giving him an opening. Heck that was what she would of done. It's what she still would do if someone would give her half a chance. She didn't know how though - she knew she couldn't go to a human doctor and she had no contacts in the elemental community on what she could do. Plus it was starting to be pretty obvious to her that part of her wanted this damned brat even though the sane rational half of her was telling her to get rid of it. She expected Dragon to side with the sane rational part of her mind, he didn't strike her as the sappy lovey dovey sentimental kind of guy.
Rory wanted to push away from him but didn't want to leave the warmth he was giving off.. and she was really craving a burger... Rory never ate burgers... well she only ate now and then really and she was never really hungry but right now she was really hungry for a burger... with cheese.
“Urgh, All I can think about is food. What the bloody hell is this thing doing to me!” Rory went to sit up but got dizzy again and collapsed back onto the sofa, pushing away the glass of icey water as the idea or drinking or eating was not good. She wanted Vodka.. that would make everything better. It always did. She glanced to Dragon again and realised that he was actually there and she really wasn't going crazy, she still hadn't moved the arm not around her stomach from his shoulder yet either, not wanting to loose contact in case he did fade away. A puzzled look crossed her face however because she really hadn't expected to wake up with him still here.
“Why haven't you fled the building screaming of whatever yet?” She trailed of and looked a little lost as she realised again that she really did not want him to leave. This bloody split in her mind was driving her mad. She shouldn't of called him and she should of found a way of dealing with this herself but she just couldn't see an option. Nothing seemed to be the correct choice and Rory had pretty much zero experience with anything that wasn't getting wasted and getting laid. “What the hell am I supposed to do about this?”

Aiden watched as Rory started to come round, breathing a sigh of relief. If she had stayed unconscious he wouldn’t have known what to do. He knew that humans tended to call 999 or 911 or whatever when one of them passed out, and he supposed he could have done the equivalent, but he thought that that might have been over kill. Especially with all the trouble they had had recently with vampyre attacks; their resources were better off elsewhere. He could deal with this …
Hopefully, he looked more sure than he felt.
When her hand flew protectively to her stomach again he frowned. Did she really thing that he’d hurt it? That went against every Elemental law, as well as every belief he had. Elemental law stated that, once you had found the partner you were able to have children with, you were to stay with them. It might sound harsh, but it was practically impossible to have children with anyone other than your Life Mate. If you got someone pregnant, you were meant to be with them, they were made specifically to be with you. To throw that away was an insult to the Fates.
To insult the Fates was punishable by death. He knew, he was the one that carried out the sentence.
As Rory placed her hand on his shoulder, he suppressed a shiver at the sudden change in temperature. How she didn’t burn at the touch of his skin, he didn’t know. Humans had been known to get very mild burns if he held onto them for too long. It made certain activities difficult, but he was always up for that challenge.
He shook his head to clear his mind. He’d have to stop thinking things like that. He was meant to be monogamous to his Mate. It was an explicit law, but it was implied. Besides, what’s the point in sleeping around if you’ve found the person you can procreate with? Better put those energies into actually procreating.
So far, he had only found a few people who complained at this. They hadn’t complained for long, mind, not after he’d paid them a visit.
“Urgh, All I can think about is food. What the bloody hell is this thing doing to me!”
Aiden nodded, looking around the loft to see if he could see anything vaguely edible. When he’d looked in the freezer, there was nothing but sad meals; not exactly something a pregnant female should be living off. He couldn’t see any fresh fruit around either and he suspected that the fridge would be void of anything even remotely healthy.
He watched as a puzzled look crossed her face as she turned to look at him. He cocked his head once more, his face a question, and waited for her to speak.
“Why haven't you fled the building screaming of whatever yet?” He frowned, confused. Why would he have run screaming out of the building? Granted, if he’d had a choice, she wouldn’t be the one he’d choose to carry his child or settle down with. Hell, given the choice he wouldn’t settle down. He loved his life as it was. He loved his job, the fact he could sleep with anyone who took his fancy. Well, practically anyone. There were some that he wouldn’t mind bedding, but they were taken so he couldn’t. He wouldn’t even try. Well, not seriously anyway.
But that wasn’t the point. The point was, now he’d gotten her pregnant, he was duty bound to stay with her.
He opened his mouth to express this, hopefully wording it better than how he had in his mind, when spoke again. “What the hell am I supposed to do about this?”
Completely missing her meaning, he looked around the loft. This wasn’t really the best environment to raise a child. Besides, where would the baby sleep? They couldn’t very well have it in the same room as them; it’d be awkward when things got heated. And they would get heated. Hell, he was having a hard time not pulling her on top of him now, especially as her dress had slipped up around her thighs from when he’d dropped her on the sofa. It was completely accidental, honest, but now he was struggling to concentrate on what he wanting to say. The fact she still had her hand on his shoulder didn’t help matters either.
He slipped into a proper sitting position on the floor next to her, then rested his hand on her stomach, wrapping his fingers around her wrist gently. “Well, first off, you’ll have to move in with me. But that’s a given. It’s too small for us both and a child here. My place isn’t much bigger, but it’ll do until we can find a better place. Out side of the city probably … It’d be safer there.” He’d have to keep this as quiet as he could, he didn’t want The Raven to find out. It’d put both Rory and the baby at risk, and he couldn’t live with himself if something happened to them. He’d gone through that once before, he wasn’t sure his sanity would be able to survive going through it again.[/blockquote]

Rory barely noticed as Dragons eyes flicked over her apartment, seemingly appraising it because her eyes and been caught by his open shirt. That just wasn't fair, all she wanted right now was him. His skin was so much warmer than hers and even just having one hand in contact was enough to cause her thoughts to drift else where. Well to be perfectly honest they had generally been going in that direction since the first time she had brought him home. When he moved she increased her grip on his arm, not knowing why but she really did not want him to go anywhere. When he shifted his position into a more comfortable one she breathed a sigh of relief. Happy that again he wasn't flee though only the gods know why he was still sat here.
She couldn't keep the kid, she wouldn't subject another person to what she had been subjected to. True she wouldn't do what her parents did as she couldn't think of a worse fate for the child, but when it came down to it she was an addict and she knew she was. Half the time she barely managed to look after herself let alone being a single mother to some one. Even though he was here now he wouldn't stick around, no one ever did when it came to her. The only friend she had that she could call a real friend was Zach... That's a point he might know what she could do in this situation. She made a mental note to text him later.
Her thoughts where distracted when her wrist on her stomach was covered by his. Pretty much warming her up in seconds. She glanced down at her hand which was entirely and utterly dwarfed by his as his fingers wrapped around her wrist. It was at small times like that when that small part of her mind pointed out that this was right, that calling him had been right and that having the kid would be right too... but that just couldn't happen. She couldn't cope with it. However she couldn't bring her self to pull her hand from his.
Then his voice shattered everything...
“Well, first off, you’ll have to move in with me. But that’s a given. It’s too small for us both and a child here. My place isn’t much bigger, but it’ll do until we can find a better place. Out side of the city probably … It’d be safer there.”
Whoa... what? Move in with him... Raising child... Living in the country...
WHAT?!
Se-heriously had the guy lost his mind. This was the longest conversation they had ever had, at least with clothes on anyway? And he was what... talking about setting up happy homes and kids and shit? He was Joking with her... screwing with her mind because she had gone and gotten pregnant on him.. that was it. This had probably happen to him loads of times where people had gotten pregnant and what ever and this was his tactic of getting rid of them!? Okay... so that didn't sound right.
Actually it sounded pretty damned insane but then Rory wasn't exactly thinking in straight line any more. He face must of gone even paler that usual if that was even possible, her eyes going wide in shock.. confusion.. horror.. what ever it wasn't good and was probably five steps away from hyperventilating again. He was talking as if this was a done thing?
Was it?!
“Who... Wait up a second here. Is this some kind of Elemental thing I don't know about... what you get some one pregnant and bingo you go and play happy families with a white picket fence?! Because you seriously do not look like the settling down kind of guy if you know what I mean? Heck is this a joke or something? Has this like happened to you before and this is your way of avoiding such a messy situation...”
Rory was pretty much rambling again, not really making any sense in the slightest. But then she was confused and this wasn't making any sense to her either. She needed her drugs, she needed to calm down and that was the only way she could think of doing it.
“ I need my tablets, now before I black out and have a freaking panic attack or something...” She glanced around before she frowned again, thinking of the child... again.... “Oh gods, What can I even take without...” She dropped her head down onto the sofa and growled in frustration, the shadows in the room immediately tacking on to her annoyance as they started to shift around uncontrollably. None of them had a form of any kind but they where all pretty much moving around, Rory didn't even notice.
“ Forget it, just grab me anything, I can't keep this child and I doubt you want me too either.”
Rory was pretty set on the idea she wanted to get rid of it but it felt.... wrong. It was pretty obvious when she was speaking that she knew that as well. [/blockquote]
