Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to the stage::
''Alieanne Victoria Drake!!
[/size][/b] “Heaven's not enough
If when I'm there I don't remember you
And heaven does enough
You think you know it
And it uses you
Cause I couldn't cry
Cause I turned away
Couldn't see the score
Didn't know the pain
Of leaving yesterday really far behind
In another life
In another dream
By a different name
Gave it all away
For a memory
And a quiet lie
And I felt the face
Of a cold tonight
Still don't know the score
But I know the pain
Of leaving everything really far behind
And if I could cry
If I could live what truth I did then take me there
Heaven Goodbye
Heaven...”
If when I'm there I don't remember you
And heaven does enough
You think you know it
And it uses you
Cause I couldn't cry
Cause I turned away
Couldn't see the score
Didn't know the pain
Of leaving yesterday really far behind
In another life
In another dream
By a different name
Gave it all away
For a memory
And a quiet lie
And I felt the face
Of a cold tonight
Still don't know the score
But I know the pain
Of leaving everything really far behind
And if I could cry
If I could live what truth I did then take me there
Heaven Goodbye
Heaven...”
Hold the press!!
Don't go wasting all your applause just yet, save some for Cass. They have been treading the floorboards for exactly 17 years and they have been totally female!! She has been in the spotlight roughly 10 years, and they're loving it!!
And now for the good stuff!!
We have a new kid on the block, going by the name of Alieanne Victoria Drake, but only their mother calls them that; you can call them Ali, Al, Tori! Rumour has it this dudette is a totally hoopy frood; so Mum's, lock up your sons!! They've been cruising the streets of Nome, Alaska for 19 years now, after coming into this god forsaken world on May 1st.
Here's the vitals!!
Race:: Terra Elemental
Special Abilities::
Earth Manipulation- Her second strongest ability, she uses it the most to help out when the sun is up on the tundra. She loves being able to help the spring get a kick-start where ever she is staying and will do her best with it every time.
Calming affect on people/Reading- Not her strongest ability at all, she has a slight issue with communicating with other beings without it. She prefers to be around animals, and so she gets to use this ability very rarely.
Animal Control- Her strongest ability she loves to be able to talk and live with her animals. She has the strongest connection to her horse and one wolf who has a great liking for her. She never uses her ability to pull prey to her though, and refuses to eat birds of any kind, feeling that after communicating with them they are all stupidly vain and she doesn’t wish to draw that from them, believing that that’s one of the reasons humans are vain.
Family:: Family of the Fallen
Position in the Family:: Doesn’t know quite yet, but is curious to find out
The physical!!
The hair:: Dark brown, longer, almost always in a pony tail, a braid, or down under a cowboy hat bought at a tourist gas station.
The eyes:: Greenish Blue, brown when extremely distraught, some say that she has a wolf-like pupil, others say horse-like
The body:: Lean, thin, medium height
The style:: She doesn’t really have one
The looks::
She believes herself to be like an old west cowgirl, but not. Her roots are very deep into the Inuit beliefs, but she loves being able to fide, and so she is always seen in blue jeans that are loose, western riding boots, a tank top, and a tan leather jacket with the fringe along the bottom edge and the arms. When it gets extremely cold she has a fur lined leather duster that she wears on and off the horse. She has a bracelet around her left wrist that is brown wood, handcrafted, and has a lily like flower as the centerpiece. Other than the bracelet she wears no jewelry, feeling that it would all just get in the way. Her skin tone is rather tan, and has the Native American brownish red in it, making her look like the color of mud in her eyes, one of her favorite ways to connect to her element.
The mental!!
The likes:: Spring, horses, dogs, wolves, cats, animals, rain, earth after rain, snow, being warmed with hot coco, falcons & hawks, after forest fires (there’s a type of flower that grows after, that only lasts the first few months that she loves to look at and watch grow)
The dislikes:: Fall, non-raptor birds(their the dumbest things on the earth, along with fish…, forest fires, big expanses of frozen water, planes, hot air balloons, being in the air unless in a tree
The hopes:: To have a barn of her own where she breeds strong horses good enough to live on the arctic tundra. To save as many wolves from being killed as possible. To find someone with the same passion for animals as she has. To be able to have such a connection to the person she shares the passion for animals for to be in love.
The fears:: Heights not connected to trees or the earth. To fail in saving the wolves, to not be able to have enough money to start a barn, to never meet anyone who has the same passion for animals as she has, and to never have the ability to touch the earth.
The talents:: She is wonderful with animals, was before she actually realized she had the ability for animal control. She is amazing on horseback and loves to be in the saddle on a horse, or bareback. She has a very close relationship with the earth, and because of that she has a strong Native American spirituality that she has been able to call on as an aid when dealing with the earth and situations surrounding it.
The bad habits:: She gets a slight stutter when around people, and very very shy. She will generally have some piece of tack in her hands at all times when uncomfortable, and when she does she fiddles with it to the point of wearing places in the leather down. When she is cleaning her gear, she will clean it and clean it and clean it, usually going after every speck of dust she can see. She will talk to herself, after being all alone for almost ten years who wouldn’t?
The attitude::
Her heart aches for every injured animal, and she wishes she had some sort of healing ability. When she finds one that has been hurt she feels that pain deep in her bones and will do anything to help keep that animal comfortable, and will mourn for a week when one she helps dies. She is very nervous around others who aren’t animalistic, and will tend to get along with more were creatures. She loves being out in the open, and will always miss the tundra, but always loves the earth and the forests. She gets especially shy around men, but can get over her shyness when she gets to know one, and is fiercely loyal to them, thinking in a wolfish mindset.
The rest!!
The parents:: One a Inuit tribesman, her father named Con, she never learned her native tongue and cant pronounce her fathers actual name, she doesn’t know where he is after leaving when she turned 10, after setting a bear on some of her fellow ‘classmates’. She doesn’t know who or where her mother is, and doesn’t really care (Her mother was the elemental, and stayed with her and her father for about a year).
The siblings:: None that she knows of of her species, but every animal she comes across she views as her own kin. (Besides non-raptor birds…)
The others:: She has her horse who is a half Icelandic and half Morgan horse, and one of her pack mates from the main wolf pack that adopted her. Don’t ask her for their names, she cant really tell you them, and refuses to give them names since they have perfectly good names! She will call them brother though.
The social class:: Class? She would say upper, but only because she feels she is as rich as she can be when around her friends.
The history::
Born and raised in Nome Alaska, she was never fond of being around humans or the people in her society. She went to a normal school for the first few years of school life, but when she turned eight her father kept her at home to be partially home schooled and taught most of the ways of his ancestry. She lived with him for ten years of her life, living in the city and not getting to meet very many animals. She knew she had a close connection to the earth, but she had always figured that it was due to her roots. (No pun intended) In a way it was, but it was mostly because of her race. Her first encounter with a wilder animal was a time when her father took her to go horseback riding and she was suddenly connected to the animals around her, she started to hear things that sounded like voices, but she could never quite catch what they were saying.
When she turned ten she accidentally set a Kodiak bear on an elementary school because she had been out and the kids had started to tease her fiercely. She ran, and while her father had been at work (she doesn’t remember what he had been doing for a job at that point in time) gathered some clothes, grabbed one of the only positions her father had of her mother, grabbed a few other things (like foodstuffs and weapon-like things). Once she had all the things she felt she needed to survive she went to the old barns where she had met her first ‘wild’ animal and started hearing things. There she came across a few young horses that were a special breed, meant to last long and have good health, immune to most sicknesses and diseases. In the middle of the night she woke one up, one that had liked her earlier in the day, and grabbed some tack that seemed to fit, some things that she thought would be handy, (Some saddlebags for the front of the saddle and the back, some extra saddle blankets, some tack cleaning and repair stuff) and lots of grains for the horse. Figuring that she would be wanted for assaulting an entire elementary school she decided to break into the cash register in the store of the barns and grab as much money as she could, stowing it in the bottom of her bags.
She left that day when she was ten, and wandered the terrain learning about the animals and the different things they knew. With practice (and a lot of help from the horse) she became the great rider she is now, and fell in love with being out in the wilderness.
With the money she stole she bought a tent and a fur lined sleeping bag, along with some cooking gear. She would steal at night and for five years she wandered across Alaska, living on her own and loving life as it was. She would steal the clothes she needed, the food she needed, the money she needed, or she would buy all of the above.
From the age of fifteen she has been working with horses and wolves along and throughout the tundra. She’s learned so much about the best ways to treat animals, and how it could correlate to humans/other beings. When she turned 17 she took a journey across Canada to get to the other side of the country, being drawn to a place where she felt the earth calling to her. She chose to take a ship across the ocean, her one wolf kin following besides her the entire way, and her horse following along, getting older. When she reached one of the ports along the eastern edge of the country she traded her horse to a good person after conversing with the animals the family owned, and gained a younger one who was half Icelandic and Half Morgan, being a strong breed. She reached a little known port (don’t ask her to tell you because she barley remembers it after being sea sick the entire time) and raced the way her bones called on her new ‘steed’, the chestnut stallion being strong of mind and body being able to take her as far as her heart desired, and willing to do so as well. It is because of that pull that she is now in the forests where others of her kind wander, staring out at the cities and wondering why she was called, her native accent sounding weird to her ears among all the stronger accents.
