She been off to a good start, and she had liked her new host family, the Smith's John Carol and their two sons Jack and Jason had made her felt welcome at once, they had a little apartment over their garage. in was nice and private less than half a mile from the pub, and the pub, now this was her kind of place, the old owner had given her a part time job there, he even let her get a room upstairs, he had 4 rooms for rent, but this place there rarely was any taker for the rooms. so she got the smallest in the back, it was perfect.
She had been at the Smith's house less than half an hour before the kids were all over her and John asked if should would mind being a sitter for a few hours, Jason was put in the pram, and of they went. Jack was a little sneaky kid, and she was sold the moment he had smashed the first snow straight in her face, this was war, Jason was fast asleep and Jack was into trouble, or that had been the plan, turned out that Jack was snappy on his feet and Jaess' high heeled boots was made her fall all too often, when she finally caught Jack they tumbled in the snow laughing, she had been frozen solid when they got back home, She had even meet quite a few people from the small village, and they had been very nice, but they knew who she was. so she would have to get got at names fast, because she hated not knowing someone that knew her.
She had made tea fixed lunch by the time that John and Carol got back, and she went over to her room to unpack, she liked her room it was small but cozy. there was all what she needed a bed a closet and a little desk for her laptop, it was perfect. She called her friend in Denmark letting them know that she had med it over safely and she even got online and on Skype with a few of them. before long she was taking a shower putting a pair of low cut jeans and a black top with grey print saying, I don't sell sex I sell condoms with a free demonstration. she gathered her hair in a ponytail and got ready for work, this arrangement was perfect, she would be packed with work, school and the pub, would make her so busy she would not have time to think too much, and if she was really lucky, then she would get as little sleep as possible.
When she got to pub it was swarmed, she was impressed for the 1st of January there was a lot of people in the pub, all waved at her as she put her jacket on the racket, and she smiled, she put on a name tag not that it was necessary apparently everybody knew her, but she was fast determent to keep it on, and she went over to a group of people and smiled she introduced herself and took her first orders. the place was packed and she didn't have much time to either think nor rest, she would just have to maybe get a pair of lower boots for work. the blisters had already made their appearance. she took a five minute break and went outside, the blizzard was back, this could not in any way be more perfect. had she even planned it. she smiled and started a name play, every time she got a name wrong of the customers they got a drink on her. She was a fast learner but still after three hours she was five drinks down.
She had a blast, everyone was so kind and they made her feel right at home, she love her new home, or it wasn't home but this was pretty close. The pub owner name was Steve and before long they had given each other nicknames, she was sassy for reasons she didn't quite get, he was grumpy, the dwarf from snow white. Grumpy had told her she could take a drink now and then as long as she didn't get wasted on the job. but she decided to better not take the chance, beside she had been here less than 24 hours and she had broken her golden rule about drinking. she had gotten a beer earlier and had not kissed anyone, but then to be honest there had only been grumpy and she was no way kissing him.
she looked outside, the blizzard was really getting started, and it looked like she would have to take up grumpy up on his invite for her to stay, she just hoped no one got caught outside. it was close to the witching hour when a stranger came in, he looked frozen and she took his orders and came with a cup of warm chocolate beside, she smiled as she told him it was on her. the stranger barely looked up at her but she didn't care, she just really didn't want to see hyperthermia up close and personal.
She kept an eye on the stranger, it was very clear he was a stranger the mood had suddenly changes and Jaess had no idea why. But she got the hint, and stayed out of the strangers way, after an hour he left, and with him the strange mood, everything was back on track and she smiled and flirted a little with a boy name Chase, she had told her they shared some of the same classes, he had even asked her if he could buy a condom. she had laughed with him when she turned him down, he really wasn't her type, she liked them more confident, and a lot better looking. she was really that shallow. she chuckled and gave a beer on her for the cute remark, and he accepted that she had turned him down.
She grinned as they reached the witching hour, midnight came fast in the pub, she had already been at work for 4 hours but she didn't want to go up stairs. She was having a too good time. She never did see the newcomer. She did although walk straight into his arms as she turned on one foot and slammed into what felt like a brick wall. She started to apologize as she took a step back and let her eyes wander up over his body, she didn't realize she was undressing him before it was too late.

Drey strolled of the boat and back to his native home, well, kinda native. He wasn't back to his homeland of Ireland but he was at least back in the United Kingdom. Albeit a place or war, strife and all of that crap that had been going of since practically the dawn of time. It was so much more comfortable here than France however – here vampyres where on top for one. That was the main part of this country that appealed to him, France was run by all the courts equally. Although he had to be thankful of that on some level – it was the reason why he had been sent back to his cheery old home. The wolves have grown tired of the fact he had not been properly punished for what they saw as the wilful murder of their kin.
Draighan saw it as retribution. Something which would have been applauded in England rather than brushed under the carpet like a dirty secret in France. Barely five minutes of the boat and Drey was relishing the accent change. Even though he had been in France for over 200 years his accent had not altered in the slightest. His rich Irish accent staying as strong as it had been when he was a young mortal.
Many vampyres liked to think the blood of humans was richer in France, it was something that he really disagreed with. Not enough women drunk vodka for his liking to be perfectly honest. It was his favourite drink and when humans drank it? It made their blood so much the sweeter for it. Drey's favourite cocktail. He wasn't the kind of man to lounge about drinking blood wine and watching dances like his position dictated. He'd rather be doing tequila of some ones stomach and drinking blood mixed with Vodka.
France hadn't been to bad until his little cousin had stolen away the only other person who had been able to drink him under the table. He was really going to have to hook up with Luce at some point although he expected her would have to go through Dove first. Those two where inseparable. Going through Dove usually meant having to avoid being prodded to dress sensible or whatever. He idly wondered if his little cousin and her father new that he was back in the country or not. Drey was still a little torn when it came to Nathaniel. The closest thing he had every had to a father... yet he was the one who banished him to the pits of hell itself … France.
Seeing that Drey had come back to England without any personal possessions he didn't exactly had to go the the courts before he went anywhere else. He had generally been evicted from the country with little warning so his stuff would likely arrive by mail order in the next few days. Drey however had all he really needed for tonight, money and himself. He'd gotten changed on the boat and ditched the bag he had been carrying his old clothes in. he wasn't in the mood to carry thing thing around for the next few hours which he planned on spending in a pub as soon possible.
He was dressed rather simple in comparison to his usual styles, simple leather trousers and a stretch vest shirt on. His tongue bar clicked against his viper bites as he finally decided on a pub, it was late and if he headed into the city it would be time for the pub to start opening all over again and he would be sharing drinks with 90 year old men who don't realise that sitting front of a bar all day is a bad thing. Drey can get away with it... he was stuck forever at the age he was turned. He'd barely got two steps into the small pub however when a small dark haired human al but threw herself into his chest. Drey tilted his head a little in confusion as the small woman practically bounced off. He was about to walk off and head towards the bar when he thoughts stopped him short.
The woman was mentally undressing him in her mind, not that he could blame her. Even of a ferry and into a pub gone midnight he knew he was damned good looking. However seeing some one else thoughts as they are undressing you is always a little weird and he reminded himself, he was out of the French court at last. England was so much better than that borefest.
His accent came out in his typical thick and rich Irish lulling tones. It was one of his greatest tools when it came to women, heck even Dove had called his accent Voice Porn once or twice. Mad little cousin. “The real show is so much better than what ever you are thinking of darl'” Drey smirked as his tongue bar swept across his bottom lip again, clicking lightly on the loops on his bottom lip. His viperbites, had to be at the top of his favourite piercings purely because of how much of a pain they where to get done, heck they where even harder than his tattoos.

“The real show is so much better than what ever you are thinking of darl'”
She had been caught, right handed with her hand in the cookie jar, she looked up at what could only be described a god-like creature, and her standard has just gone up again. She blushed as she ignored the invite, she was not drunk and he really, really to good looking. She smiled as she past him and went over to take orders. She did keep an eye on this one. Chase asked her to sit down with him but she brushed him of. She waited till the stranger had placed himself at a table, before she came over to him with a devilish smile. She cocked her head, as she waited for a reaction, as she waited she let her eyes take him in. He smelled good and his hair was just about that length where she wanted to let her fingers run through it, before pinning him to the wall. Her smile widen as she thought of him again the wall, with her hands all over him. Hold on, no fooling around the work area. She had to be able to return and somehow she knew if she got him pinned to the wall, she would really have to make a run for it.
His voice had an effect on her, she would call it a bedroom voice, and the accent was merely a plus. She looked over at him eyeing his leather pants, and she liked the way they looked on him. Well she was most certainly out of his reach. No it was the other way around. She knew his types, they wanted models, she was not bad looking but a model, nope not even close. She smiled as she leaned over a table and her top shoved just a little too much skin, not that she minded skin, as long as it was her own. When it came down to men. She shivered at the mere thought.
“Yum yum, Jessie, his is a keeper, hubba hubba.”
Jaess shook her head, now where had that come from? She stood a little behind him so of course he didn’t notice her, so she coughed discreetly, as she moved closer to him, she wished someone would just walk into her so she would end up on his lap, now that would be the best place in the pub tonight. She moved in closer and she placed her in front of him, she smiled as she bit her lower lip, she shook her head again. This could turn out to be either a success or utterly fiasco.
“So hi, I’m very sorry for not noticing you back there, I am Jaess, I will be taking your orders tonight.”
Oh good this sounded as formal as she had planned, NOT! She couldn’t help herself before she even thought the consequences through she continued.
“So was that an offer or a threat?”
She knew it the moment she had said it, she was so not drunk enough for this. But she had started so she would finish it, she just didn’t know how or when. She hoped he would stay the night over it would her options. She just left it there. Her top was showing just a little to much skin so she shifted a little just to make it slide a little back down, she was a tease, but she did not put out! Somehow that was quite important that the stranger knew this, not that she had any idea of how he would and if he cared, he was out of her reach, she knew that much, so she could flirt all she wanted. He was “safe”.
“Aw let me have him? I’ll behave, I’ll even let you have a little sneak peak, when he is under me.”
She clenched her hands as she ignored the stupid voice, so the b*tch was back, this was not good, she would have to start on her medicine again. She sighed as she forced the uninvited voice back into the depths of her closed dark mind. She put her hands on her hips without even noticing, she had the boss voice on inside her head, making sure she would not turn up later and rape the poor man in front of her. She smiled as she waited for his order, his voice, oh she was so going to get hurt if she would let him.

Drey smirked as the girl realised that he had caught her red handed mentally undressing him. Heck he didn't really need his telepathy to work out what had been going on her mind a few seconds after she had bounced clean on of his chest. As she moved away he didn't bother hiding the fact he was watching her go, earning her a bit of a glare of more than one guy in the room. Drey stretched his back and brought himself to his full height before stalking over to an open seat. The glares he was getting abruptly spotted when they realise that Drey was, for lack of a better word... huge. There where very few people who would dare challenge him openly and those who tried to hold his eyes faltered early on at their own game. He ran his tongue over his fangs in amusement, his mere presence obviously stopping some people from taking the the girl back to their beds.
Her thoughts where conflicted when she returned to him, the smile of her lips earning one from himself before she had to go again. It was a shame she was at work and Drey was already wondering when her shift ended exactly. Her thoughts kept slipping into his mind and he was left with the rather nice image of her pinning him to a wall. That wouldn't be something he was adverse to in the slightest and he may just use the opportunity to have her against the wall if he got the option. So far this was turning out to be a very good trip back in merry old England.
He could hear her thoughts clearly when she was behind him, he chose to ignore that of the men who's eyes where being drawn again and again the flashes of skin she was showing them. Hers where far more interesting as at the moment a lot of them featured him which was always good.
“Yum yum, Jessie, his is a keeper, hubba hubba.” Hmm, there was a definite split there some where, very conflicted when it came down to her thoughts. His first idea what that her parents had tried t bring her up rather sheltered and like most girls who grow up bored they are dying for the bad boy. There was always that part of their mind saying that he was bad news though, heck it should be really. He was a vampyre when it came down to it.
When her thoughts turned to wishing some one would push her over so she would land in his lap he leaned back with a cocky smile on his face as he vaguely considered looping one of his fingers into her belt loops and pulling her down. All thoughts of her growing up and whatever lost again. Drey did have a pretty short attention span.
“So hi, I’m very sorry for not noticing you back there, I am Jaess, I will be taking your orders tonight.” Hmm well that was something he sure as hell would not be arguing with right now... “So was that an offer or a threat?”
Drey heard her thoughts as she spoke, she wasn't drunk enough for this then? Well that could be easily rectified. He had enough money to keep them on straight liquor until even he couldn't think straight. Given that he was a vampyre that would generally take quite a lot of alcohol. She was turning into a bit of a challenge now, she was seeing him as a safe flirt. Well that would have to be something he would shatter at the first possible moment. He could of used some of the lines a few of the men had obviously been practising in order to use on her... but he had a feeling that wouldn't get him any where given that most where around her T-shirt.
He however had a nice advantage over the other monkeys in the room, he was just that little big psychic. Women seemed to love it when you did what they wanted without them having to tell you to do it. It was fantastic for him.
“Aw let me have him? I’ll behave, I’ll even let you have a little sneak peak, when he is under me.” That voice again, in her mind... it was so much different to hers now he had heard her voice. He wondered if there was a way to bring that one forward. He could see him having some fun with that one. Even though she was thinking about medicine the squash the other voice... yes that would of sent most people running but it just intrigued her to him.
“It'll be what ever you make it Darl', and we can solve your other problem if you bring enough vodka to this table for both of us. ” He smirked knowing that he was answering something that she had not voiced, he tried to keep his face innocent but it failed miserably, he really couldn't pull of innocent even if he tried. He didn't care about the fact some vamps would think this was a miss use of power or whatever, or heck that he was giving her a hint that he might have a power... Humans where very good at ignoring things like that, they could explain EVERYTHING away, it saved him a lot of trouble.

“It'll be what ever you make it Darl', and we can solve your other problem if you bring enough vodka to this table for both of us. ”
She looked at him, wondering what other problem she had, she figured it had to be something with her bumping into him. She smiled as she thought of the offer, was he flirting with her? She looked at hin, she must have misunderstood something. But she just nodded and brought him an entire bottle vodka, but only one glass, if he wanted her, he would ask again, if not well then she was right, beside she had one more hour to go before her shift was over, and if he didn’t ask her she would buy her own bottle and sit at the bar annoying Grumpy. She never did wait for him to ask him to join her, one of the locals had caught her eyes, he looked petrified, and she knew that look, this meant that this stranger was not a stranger, he was trouble, not that she minded trouble, she had started her fair share of fights back home. But this stranger was big, and she was not sure that her little self-defense class could knock him of his feet. Had had not moved an inch when she had stumbled into him.
She looked at him, smiling as she saw him watch her. Oh my my my, she had his attention for some reason, but why was that? And what was the other problem. She would have to ask him later, right now she had drinks so serve and a job to do, and if she could keep her mind out of the gutter for so long, then that would be a success.
The next hour she was running back and forth, avoiding the cute stranger. At the end of her shift she was bumped into him, not entire inot his lap more into his back, she placed her hands on his shoulder to take of some of the impact. That was when she felt it, he was ice cold, her thoughts went back to the other stranger earlier, he had been stone cold too, but this cute one should be warm by now, or was he to exhausted to geet his warmth back. She let one hand slide down his arm and grabbed it hard. She looked at Grumpy and told him she was heading up, to her room. She turned towards the stranger, not really waiting for him to do anything.
”Mr. You’re coming up with me, you’re too cold, and I’m having anybody pass out because of hyperthermia on my watch, so follow me, I got a few tricks to warm you up with. First thing first, getting you out of those cold clothes, and no I do not accept a no for an answer, I hope you don’t have any plans because you’re going to be late.”
She let go of his arm, expecting him to follow her, as she walked up and grabbed two bottles of vodka, she never did look back if he knew what was good for him he would follow her upstairs, if not heck she would not make a scene but she could always trick him, sex always did the it for most men, and hell if she got him into bed she could always use the cuffs and make him behave, she could away knock him out with the vodka, or sneak out the window, wouldn’t be the first time she had done it, wouldn’t be the last either. But first…
“Oh yes Jessie, let us warm up the poster boy, I’m sure he can be a bad boy, hell give him an uniform and I’ll bet he’d be the hottest firefighter in the calendar.”
Jaess snapped as she ignored the voice, so she would be there too, this could be a very bad idea after all, she had more than once ended up in bad with a stranger only to sneak out the bathroom window. She had even once sprained her right ankle. She had limped her way home as the poor sucked had been waiting for her in bed, she never did go back to that bar, oh she had seen the boy a few days later, but fortunately ignored her. How lucky was that? She really needed a drink, so she made a “brandbil med udrykning”. Translated fire truck with a siren on, what it was called in English she had no idea. It was red soda vodka and jëagermeister. It was just the thing for her sweet tooth, she drank it all in one go, wiping her lips with the back of her hand, now she had to get the cute stranger into bed, and she would be damned if she broke her golden rule of drinking twice within 24 hours. She grabbed the two bottles put them on her tap and walked towards the stairs.
She giggled as she turned on the light on the stairs, moving up slowly as she waved goodnight to the customers, as she kept her eyes of the stranger, she would know soon enough, oh she hoped he was behind her, even thought she could not hear any footsteps, but he would not be the first to sneak up on her. She loved to some degree to be surprised, she hated when it was Nat that made the surprise. That usually meant a lot of skin, and not hers either. She was the stranger in her head, he really had the looks with him, and now she had commanded him up to bed, and since she wasn’t going to pay for a room for him, it would be her bed, her secret place. She knew the room was hot she had turned up the heater. She rarely slept with much clothes on, and it was too late to turn it down, beside the stranger needed the heat. So she would have to grow a pair fast.
“A, let me take care of him I promise he will be able to walk tomorrow, or at least the next day, pretty please Jaess, I’ll behave for 2 weeks, just give me him.”
“Hell no! I know exactly what you wanna do with him and that is going to be over my dead body, and yours too!”
She clenched her hands tightly around the bottles. She was so close to losing it, and that could simply just not happen. She had to stay in control. She had to! But her mind wandered of in the cute strangers direction, had he called her Darl? Oh my god was he flirting with her or was it the other way around. She gave up wondering as she thought of his body, his very firm and cold body.
She would undress him, slowly, or maybe not so slowly he was cold so she could not take the luxury and tease him by undressing him slowly, no she would have to make him strip, fast. What a waste but there was no other way around it. He had to get as naked as he much as he dared and she dared. As long as he kept on his boxer’s she would be great, or not but she would have to grow up and take her medicine. And keep Nat away, or she would end up hoping he would not return to the pub, but that was probably wishful thinking. She missed a step and fell forward, now her hands were full of bottles so she turned as her shoulder smashed into the floor, making her yelp. Tears came to her eyes as she put the bottles down and rubbed her shoulder, damn she was really being sexy, riiiight.
She sat up and blinked the tears away, someone stood in front of her but her eyes could not see clearly as they were all watered up. So she sighed and reached out a hand to get up.

She had given him a cup of chocolate for free, she was indeed her mothers child. She was as kind as Helena had been. The memories of her made his eyes water up just a little, she had indeed been his favorite until Jaess, she had a way with him, and when she was admitted he had been there every night taking care of her, he had been an orderly making her physical pain go away, but his powers ended there, and he had no power over Nat. If he had she would have suffered a horrendous death. He would have made her beg befor killing her. He would have loved it so much. But he was merely a vampire not a good, and his power failed him utterly again. He had messed with her mind just a little, making sure she could not recognize him as the kind orderly from back when she was younger.
He had left her as soon as he had made sure she was safe and happy. She was a good girl, and even thought he felt Nat she had been in control, so he had left the pub. But before he had reached the abandoned church just three miles away he had felt the disputable scent of a vampire, and not only that, he had entered his little angels hideout. He was in the pub by the time he got there. He had heard this vampire, his kind was trouble and he had his attention on HIS Jaess, this would not be good, he would have to interfere. But two vampires in a public place was never a good idea, not when one wanted to kill the other, so he would have to wait for the right moment to erase his memory.
He had seen his thoughts and he had seen Nat again, how he loathed that girl. She was messing with his most vulnerable possession, Jaess. Now a vampire had caught her sent, and he liked what he was. This was something he would have to deal with right now. He waited outside in the shadows, making sure every time the vampire caught his scent that he forgot it at once. He had always been good with this trick, and he would make sure that little rascal held his creepy cold fingers from HIS possession. Jaess was the only reason he was still sane, she had been awake many nights back in the ward, she had read him stories she had told him everything, of course some of it he had made go away. Like the dreadful day she tried to kill her self. The truck had been too close he had knocked her of her feet. Only time he couldn’t save her was when she had cut herself. The bloodlust in him was too strong for him to even enter the house, but he had called for help, then giving Nat a memory that she had done it. this had pleased and worked for the both of them.
He had killed more than one boy that had his mind in the gutter with Jaess, he had made damn sure there were no stalkers no monster, he had failed her with those werewolves, he had failed Helena, but he would not fail again, she was his link to his sanity. She was his last hope for a family, now he knew he had a twisted idea about family, but he was not about to share her with anyone undead or supernatural in any way, if she was changed he would do the changing and it would only be is she was dying on him. But he hoped for her to grow up get her own family and live the human life in ignorance and bliss.
Now this little player was interfering with his plans, and he would not have it, this was his claim in any. He would never leave Jaess if he could, he would follow her to the court and drag her out of there and he would kill anyone that came between them. He had done his fair share of killing, vampires were’s and even a few elementals. Anything that got too close for his liking. He was the boss, he was as he knew the oldest vampire and he would make claim on who ever he wanted and if this came to be his last option he would claim his kin.
It had been done in the middle-ages, and the royal community, and thought he might not be of royal blood he damn sure was in religion, he had his own fan group and they were called Christians. He smiled as his precious Jaess drank her favorite combo drink, and grabbed the two bottles. He turned his attention on the vampire following her, making him look away and erasing her totally in his head. Hell he even threw in an urge to go home to the court, so he would not stick around.
But his plan had failed, she had fallen, and the dog had turned and looked at her, and he had remembered her. So his cover was blown, now he had to figure out what to do, confront him or make sure he knew she was off limits. He knew, and that made him want her more. Zeth felt his blood boild. He was so close to burst straight in and kill everything, making sure she would be safe. Of course he would have to erase her memory once more, but he would do it, if that kept her safe. He sent the bastard one memory, making sure the brat knew is he as much as touched her he would be strung up like one of vlad’s pets in the good old days.

Drey grinned as confusion flitted across her face at his statement, sometimes it was fun to be psychic and play with the humans. She seemed baffled by his offer though which was odd, for some reason she seemed to have an idea in her head that he was way out of her league and it was actually making her a little bit of a challenge... Drey was used to women falling over to get to him. She came back with a bottle and a single glass and he did his best puppy dog impression before she swept away again. Darn her shift better end soon. He was not a fan of drinking a long but picking up bar waitresses was an art that he had mastered. If he even chatted to another woman he'd loose all hope. Lucky he had a damned good metabolism and a lot of vodka to keep him happy... Oh and the eves dropping on people thoughts was always good for funsies.
He kept an eye and an ear on her thoughts, amused that she had latched onto the idea of her other problem. More intelligent than your everyday human too... interesting. Very interesting. He also found it very amusing when her mind dipped into the gutter, this was a very interesting night so far.
The second bump into him was kind of similar to the first expect this time Drey had put him self intentionally in her way so that she would bump into him. Knowing where some one was planning on walking was handy like that. Her hands where roasting hot on his skin which was still quite ice cold. He smirked as her thoughts flickered to concern over him dying of hypothermia. Before he could comment and ease her worried her hand slid down his arm before grabbing his and and turning away to tell her boss she was going to her room. Drey feeling a little bit like a puppy being dragged just offered a quick smile at her boss, fiddling with his tongue piercing with his teeth.
“Mr.
“There isn't a plan in the world that sounds better than that one darling, lead the way.” He grinned as she went forward and grabbed to bottles of vodka.
That was when he felt it... poking... writhing... in his mind. Drey hated things in his mind, he was one of the most powerful psychics this place had every seen but he couldn't keep his mental shields up day in day out. By the time he knew he needed to put his shields up it was too late. He had forgotten when he had needed to. He glance around confused for a few moments and shook his head. Utterly unaware of why he was stood in the middle of a bar in the ass end of no where. He knew he was back in England... He had left France... but why was he here? He had an urge to go to court which was backwards and a half... It didn't feel right. Drey was very in tune with his own mind and something had changed and he knew it. A growl nearly tore from his throat before he realised he was surrounded by people. He couldn't loose control here but he got very angry when people messed with his mind. Energy leaked out around him and more than one glass got a small crack in it from the psionic bleeding...
That was when he heard some one yelp, his head immediately flicked in the direction and when he saw her fall the memories came smashing back to him. Almost making his eyes water. Some one had tried to steal his memories and wipe them. Well it was blatantly honest they had no idea who they where messing with. Drey through up his mental wards and glanced around, picking up the trace of what the person had done. They where outside.
He quickly moved to where Jaess was and let a hand out to pull her up, pulling her up quickly. He needed to deal with the Vampyre outside before he did anything else. He smiled to her, his fangs rather apparent but then most people explained that away anyway.
“Bear with me a second there darl', I will be right back to take you up on that offer but an old not so friendly acquaintance of mine just made an appearance.” Her tapped his chin in though for a second before pulling off the thin silver pendant and slipping It over her head. To her it would look like he was leaning her with something to ensure he would come back, in reality the necklace had been covered in his blood during the attack and had his scent all over it, putting it on her. Making any other Vampyre thing twice when looking at her.
“I wont be long and I guarantee that I'll be back.” Drey winked before turning in a sweeping arc and walking straight out the bar with such a determination that people instinctively got out of his way. A lot of vampyres try to be more human and sane and what ever, Drey didn't. He was a vampyre and that was that, it gave him an advantage over those who where weaker and hated themselves.
He exited the bar and stretched his powers out, feeling anger and hate in the mind of some one near. The scent of a vampyre hit his nose and he tilted his head like a wolf stalking his pray. His head abruptly snapped in the direction which the stranger was standing. His own rage boiling over and affecting everything around him. The sky lit up as lightning cracked out of control with now rain or thunder. Lighting up everything and every one. That was when he saw him. He was sure he recognised him but the Vampyre was said to be long dead. However if he had the ability to get into people mind and change their memories it would be a good way to stay hidden. So a vampyre hiding from the courts though messing around in his head was a good idea? This was going to be amusing. He cracked his knuckles and blue energy cracked over his skin. He reinforced the shields in his mind protecting his mind from intrustion
“My mind is off limits to every one, and that includes vampyres who try and make people think they are dead. I wouldn't try it again unless you want to find your self strung up and hanging from the courts.”

“Bear with me a second there darl', I will be right back to take you up on that offer but an old not so friendly acquaintance of mine just made an appearance.”
He growled as he heard the bastard, talking to HIS Jaess, and the pendant just made it even more hurtful, she was not a toy, she was his, and he would not in any way tolerate other vampires on his kin. This was without a doubt something he would not accept. He knew the youngster would come out, he felt the rage, and it made him smile. If she would bear any mark of a vampire it would be his, not a player that had been kicked out of two courts. He clenched his fist ready for what was coming, he had heard rumors of this little spoiled brat. His cover might be blown, but that would be dealt with later.
“I wont be long and I guarantee that I'll be back.”
Like hell he was, Zeth would make sure he was turned into a pile of dust, he was armed and he would decapitate this little rival, he was not about to share Jaess’ love with anything not of this world. He would wait for the sucker to come to meet his death. He had no idea of talking with the pest, he would just end him, and be over with. Then he would rip the necklace of Jaess, and hell he would even feed on her or let her taste his blood claiming her that way, before leaving the UK. Taking his little price possession with him. Keeping her safe, he would lock her up in a tower if that would keep her safe, anything to keep her of the vampire radar. The brat was outside and the storm was brewing. So the kid had a way with electricity, well then he might get a little fried, but he was not worried, pain was just something he lived with every day.
“My mind is off limits to every one, and that includes vampyres who try and make people think they are dead. I wouldn't try it again unless you want to find your self strung up and hanging from the courts.”
“Just take your pendant and walk away, and I will not interfere anymore, but if you think for one second I will allow you to even touch her, your are in for a big mistake. She is mine, I have been there her entire life, and I do claim her for my own, and no spoiled brat is going to take her away from me. there is nothing you can do to hurt me, I’m not afraid of your kind, I have seen your likes come and go over the millennia’s.”
He looked into the pub, shifting his beloved Jaess memory, but she was struggling and he didn’t want to make any mistakes, so he looked at the troublemaker. Smiling his old worn smile.
“Just walk away. If you want your pendant back, I’ll get it for you. Just walk away.”
He made a gesture with his hand, just making a point. He looked at the kid, he was cocky, just the type he really loved to tear into parts before burning them. He ignored the blue light the kid was surrounded by. He tried to force his way in to his mind, but this time he failed, interesting so the kid could actually defend himself. He would have made a good follower, if only Zeth was into that. Had the kid even been human, he might had let him be Jaess first lover, but he wasn’t so this would simply not go at all. He smiled as his hand slid in under his trench coat, grabbing the first of the two swords, caressing it as he waited for the kid to make his first move. He had been taught well, he remembered the crusades, hell he had killed singlehanded the entire Israelis court, while pretending to be a templar knight. He could not hides his smile. It had been a while since he had had a challenge in front of him, but this kiddo could turn out to be the best fun he have had for more than a century.
He was taken somewhat startle the second he realized they weren’t alone anymore, his head flew to the door, no this could not be, why had she followed the bastard out? She was not safe, he let go of the swords handle and looked her, ignoring the little brat for a few seconds. He was in between his little Jaess, he looked at her, smiling as he made sure she could recognize him. He started to shift her memories, slowly, he hated playing with her, but this was an emergency, he had to keep her safe, out of the bastard’s arms and fangs.
He changed her memories, changing them so she would come to him, away from the predator between them. He hated to put in memories of them being a couple, and even worse that he had been her first but this was war, he needed her to walk away either inside or into his arms. Either would do at this point. Just as long as she wasn’t near that two-timing-player. Her eyes shifted, and he was worried that he would have to change Nat’s memories too, this was just not his night, but the little whore stayed away, it was still Jaess, and she looked at him in wonder, he had been her friend her storyteller, he had kept her safe and warm all those months and now he pushed himself into her memories, he felt guilty, he knew she felt wrong and it surprised him that she felt ashamed of being with him. He didn’t although not care, he was her keeper, and if claiming her was the only thing to keep her safe, he would.
He looked at the brat, as he changed the last memory, he smiled a challenging smile, that said it all. It was his what-your-going-to-do-about-it-now-brat smile. He loved this. He had putted himself into her sweet innocent memory, yes this was not something he was proud of and he would make sure to erase it when he got her to safety, but he knew one thing about the little flower in front of him, she was loyal, very loyal, and she would be drawn to him even though it was a dirty trick. He was sadden by the fact that he had to use this power on her once more. But this extreme situation called for it.
One more step, come to me my child, away from the danger between us, he would gladly give up his healing powers to be able to manipulate her thoughts even more. He would give up his healing powers any day, if he could make her do what he needed her to do right now.
“Come to me babe, it’s really me Gali!”
She started to walk over to him, looking at the stranger as she passed him, her eyes flickered but he called her name making sure she would not let Nat come out right now. He had learned this trick one night were Jaess cried out for him, he had held her to the early morning talking to her softly as she was safe in his arms. She had felt so fragile, he had been so afraid he’d lose her. She was almost past him, he pleaded to her to come to him, not out loud he would not give the bastard that much power over him. He would have to do one of two things, he was quite sure it would end up with Jaess knocked out and him killing the brat, but for now all he cared about was her safety. He could run to her and rip her away from the predator, but he would rather do this nice and easy. No need to scare her, that would just bring out Nat, and he really couldn’t handle that b*tch right now.
He smiled reassuring to her, as she looked at the stranger again before turning her head towards him, and smiling that beautiful smile, that he had come to love so much over the years. She was almost within reach. So close.

“There isn't a plan in the world that sounds better than that one darling, lead the way.”
Oh she was so in love with his voice, heck she would pin him to the wall, after he had undressed himself, that was sure, she smiled as he helped her up, oh chivalry was indeed not dead, she smiled as she blinked her tears away. She wanted to say something to him but was interrupted by him.
“Bear with me a second there darl', I will be right back to take you up on that offer but an old not so friendly acquaintance of mine just made an appearance.”
He could call her darl’ anytime he wanted, she liked it, she got goose bumps on her arms as she looked a little surprised as he put the necklace over her head. Oh yeah she had scored. She might not even crawl out the window to night, but she would be using her cuff for sure, oh that she would. She planned on being on top, and she would set the pace, and there was always the window if he got all bossy and wanted to stay on top.
“I wont be long and I guarantee that I'll be back.”
He better be back, she had two bottles of vodka, and her first drink so she had to kiss him, and oh those lips, she was so paying for it in the morning when she would wake up alone. He had to be the kind that snuck out in the night, but right now she didn’t even care. She wanted him. All of him. Something in him, reminded her of a long forgotten safety feeling, but she could not place it anywhere. But it had something to do with his cold skin she was sure of so much. She sighted and turned and grabbed the bottles and looked over her shoulder as he walked out, something in the way people moved away from him made her think twice.
She would have gone to her room if she hadn’t heard the lighting. She froze, she hated and loved the lightning. She had to go outside and see if she could see it through the blizzard there was nothing to do, something escaped her, and she looked down her hands as she was a bit shocked up, two bottles? What the hell. When had she ever downed two bottles in one go, she looked around but there was no one here, so she was clearly making an attempt on drinking her wits that night, she just couldn’t remember why she had gone for two bottles.
But that would have to wait. She putted the bottles down and walked towards the door, and as she opened it she saw two shadows, and it sounded like they were arguing, hell she would have to get in between then to make sure that her first night wouldn’t end up a fiasco. She looked at the stranger closest to her, somehow he felt familiar, but she never got to end the thought. She froze as she saw the face in front of her, behind the unknown stranger. It was…
She looked at him as she almost lost her dinner, she felt as if everything started to turn around, her head spinning like it was going ninety miles an hour. She had her hands in front of her and up against her head. Something was not right. She looked at the familiar stranger, as she slowly recalled lost memories. They had been a couple, they still were, they had just agreed on her education was to come first, so why was he here. And more important why was he arguing with some stranger outside her pub, instead of being in her arms.
She so longed for his touch, but then she recalled more, the long nights how they met, and the first time. She felt sick to her stomach, how could she have forgotten the first time. She was terrified what else had she forgotten these last 30 or so hours. Something in side her urge her to walk towards him, she shivered as she took her first step towards her lover, her boyfriend, what ever he was, oh she had to make sure he never knew that she had forgotten about him. That would be awful. She looked at the stranger, something in her screamed that she wanted him, but this could not be true. She shook her head as she felt Nat’s presence.
She grabbed her temples as she almost fell to her knees, but she fought her off, she had told Gali about her she knew that much, but she could not remember for the life of her if he knew she was still around. She was so close to the man he had argued with, she could smell him, and for a second she almost remembered something about hypothermia and the two bottles of vodka, but somehow it evaded her mind again. She felt dizzy, the kind of dizzy she had often felt in the ward. She would really have to get some medicine into herself as soon as possible.
“Come to me babe, it’s really me Gali!”
It was really him, she smiled as she felt awful tired and as if she would pass out any minute. He was her protector she knew that, he had always been that, she knew he was there for her, there could be no other explanation, and she wasn’t looking for another. Then another wave hit her, flickering as Nat tried to come out, but Gali called her name, making sure Nat didn’t get out, she was so thankful for that, he had to know about Nat he did everything he used to in the ward. Oh how could she have forgotten him.
She was right beside the stranger as Gali called for her with his sweet soft voice, he was her anker he kept her sane he kept Nat away, he had to be her lover, and she would follow him to the end of the world, she knew she loved him, that much was true, but the feeling of loving him was different than what she would have thought it would be. somehow she had an entirely other idea of what she should be feeling, and this was not it. but she knew her Gali, he had been there for her all this time. She could have sworn she had seen him as shadow in her nursery, but that could not be, he was her lover and of course she would mix her memories together, she wasn’t well, perhaps she would have to get Gali to get her admitted again. Maybe he still worked as an orderly somewhere, and she could end up with him guarding her at night. When ever Nat was strongest.
She never did make it all the way over to him…

Drey looked incredulously at the other vampyre, seriously he thought a little faff and a comment about age was going to send Drey running for the hills? Laughable at best really. One thing about Drey was that he knew he was strong, also he knew how to work the courts. At that he was a master. He had been living in a country where the rules where not tipped in the vampyres favour as they where in England and he had learnt to get around them for centuries so that even the courts of which he had greatly insulted could not get rid of him. Heck he had had to slaughter half a small village before they had the guts to remove him from the country. They only got away with that by ending their contract.
He saw the old vampyres attention flit back to Jaess again assumed he was using the same trick on her as he had tried on him. He disliked messing with peoples heads in such a fashion, he tricked and lied to people and made them think he was god on earth but he never forced his way into some ones mind and changed their perceptions. He could read people thoughts but he had never tried to take his ability futher, which was why the expert at the French court though his ability was changing into a more physical fashion. He liked people to remember him, even when they regretted it. Scratch that. Especially when they regretted it.
“Just walk away. If you want your pendant back, I’ll get it for you. Just walk away.”
The guy didn't seem to realise that he was making things worse for himself, telling Drey to walk a way was a guaranteed way to get him to stay in place and do the damned opposite of what he was being told to do. When the mans hand went for his sword the blue light focused to a point within his hand, he was a fight, loud and flashy wouldn't be required but skill would.
When his attention flew to Jaess Drey tilted his head, not willing to completely take his eyes of the man even when he lowered his hands from his swords. Drey didn't trust snidey people - well, he didn't really trust any one but people who lied to your face where easier to trust. As Drey always said he'd rather be stabbed in the front than the back any day.
He pretty much saw the memories that he was forcing into her head. His challenging smile again didn't help it. But it didn't take an idiot to know that forcing that amount of memories into some one had made her dizzy, her mind was open and he could pretty much see everything as his ability had seemingly stolen her defences. Mainly, he could see that she wasn't a lone in her head, he had suspected it earlier but it was confirmed to him not.. Nat… and she was actually trying to protect Jaess from the invasion in her mind, which meant Jaess's real memories where still there.
“Come to me babe, it’s really me Gali!”
Hmmm so calling Jaess's name kept Nat at bay. Her eyes however kept flicking back towards him each time, she would never reach him. Drey didn't get to where he was without playing dirty, If he couldn't get through to Jaess Nat was obviously sitting under the surface some where.
"Darl' you should be careful where your walking. That man there is no friend of yours." He needed to get her attention back onto him, he extinguished the electric in her fingers and flashed her a full smile fangs and all, hoping to gain her attention with the act. He had always been told that his eyes where innocent, that people trusted him when they looked into his eyes no matter what lies her was spinning. He took this as an ability he learnt growing up with the royal family. There you learn to lie before you learn to feed. It was a necessary part of court life. He was very good at it because even thought he had piercings he looked as innocent as a new born child.
"Remember our plans, I believe hand cuffs where involved along with that extra bottle of Vodka to stop me from getting hypothermia. He tilted his head and ran his hand through his hair, remembering that she had thought it was the perfect length for him to run her fingers through earlier. Drey was good at giving people subtle hints, making them remember things they might of forgotten with subtle clues.

"Darl' you should be careful where your walking. That man there is no friend of yours."
She looked at him, something inside her changed, she started to remember.
"Remember our plans, I believe hand cuffs where involved along with that extra bottle of Vodka to stop me from getting hypothermia.”
She gasped as she remembered it all, things long forgotten to, it brought her to her knees. She grabbed her temples as she moan from the pain of memories rushed over her as a tide, tears ran down her face, and as Zeth took one step towards her, she fell backwards, rolling over as she crawled behind the stranger. She didn’t understand anything right now, but she was either losing it, or something unnatural was going on.
She heard Zeth curse as he looked at her, he knelt down and whispered.
“Come to me child, I promise you I will not hurt you, but you are in grave danger and this stranger will hurt you, in ways you can’t even imagine, beside he will never love you, he has already met his life’s love, you would merely be a replacement. Jaess come to me, let me take you somewhere safe, and I promise you I’ll fix you, and we can get rid of Nat.”
She grabbed the stranger’s leg, feeling how cold he was, she got up, she looked at Zeth, with a distant look in her eyes. He had done something to her, she knew that much, what was more disturbing was that she knew inside her that it hadn’t been the first time either. She was furious. So he didn’t like the stranger, well then, Jaess decided that she liked him, she looked at Zeth as she thought about what to say to him, and how to put it in words that she would never want him around her again, that she was no part of his life.
“Zeth, if that even is you’re real name, apparently you have some tricks up your sleeve, and I have been the victim of those, I do not like being manipulated in any way, so I have but this to say, get out of my life, stay away, and as for what I do with this man beside me, is my business and my alone. Now I don’t know how you can do whatever you have done, but… as far as I recall, neither I nor him promised love or anything else, as I recall, and please be my guest to fill in the blank spots since you have erased them, I told him to get into my bed, because he is very cold. What ever we do in the privacy of MY room is my business alone, and yes of course the cute stranger.”
She looked at Zeth, she wasn’t sure she was clear enough, at the moment he looked like he was ready to charge the cute stranger, and she would have none of it, she stepped in front of him and smiled, turning her back on Zeth as she looked up at the tall stranger, letting her hand slide up behind his neck and pulling him down and her up to his lips. She kissed him gently, but before she even really did taste him, Nat woke up, forcing her tongue into the cute stranger’s mouth. Pressing herself towards him, making sure Zeth saw every move.
She looked into the stranger’s eyes, and knew she was not going for the window tonight, she just hoped he would be able to keep Nat away. She narrowed her eyes as she looked at him, thinking if he had any special gifts too, she smiled, oh cutypie if you can read my thought feel free to pick me up and take me inside, I promise I wont run from you. She wanted him undressed and in her bed so he could get warm.
She giggled as she recalled one thing about herself earlier today, oops, she wasn’t wearing any underwear, oh well he looked like the type that would just like that a little. She let her fingers run through his perfect hair, it felt really good. She he had lost someone close to him, so what if she was the rebound girl in his life, she had to start living, and right now he was the air she breathed. She looked up in the sky, a little disappointed that the lightning was gone, she had hoped she would see just a little, even if it was just clouds light up.
She turned her attention back to the hottie.

"Darl' you should be careful where your walking. That man there is no friend of yours." He continued, "Remember our plans, I believe hand cuffs where involved along with that extra bottle of Vodka to stop me from getting hypothermia.”
Zeth was frustrated, and when he realized her memory was trigged by this brat, he almost lost it. He took one step towards his little Jaess, but she looked scared of him, she fell and hid behind that little monter. He would have to deal with him, and swift too.
He cursed softly as he regrouped his thoughts, he admitted the memory trick on his little Jaess had been dumb, but he was desperate, he would not let her end up as a snack for some spoiled kid of the court. He shook his head as he looked at Jaess again. He knelt down to make him self less threatening as he pleaded with her.
Zeth knew before he said anything that he had lost her, she was frightened, and he had dealt his hand wrong, so plan 2 had to come in play, but he had no plan 2 at this very moment, he could only wait for the brat to get lost, or he would have to ambush the bastard. Either way he was dead. Zeth wished he could say something that would calm her down, but he knew a lost cause when he was one, beside he wasn’t messing with her memory again, at least not right now. She looked with hate at him, hate?
Well she was pissed, he knew her stubbornness when ever that Jaess appeared he knew he had lost, well not really lost, just that he had to get to her from an entirely other angle. He looked up at the stranger, getting ready to throw himself at his throat, when Jaess got up and moved in front of him, now where did that come from. She never got into fights without any kind of backup, and as far as he knew none of her friends where there. Did she really think that the dog would protect her from him? He was family, that thing was, he frowned. He was so going to love tearing this youngster to pieces. The next thing almost made him forget how fragile she was, as she pulled Drey down for a kiss, Zeth had to rise and look away, or he would have ripped her to pieces to get to Drey.
He would get his change with the youth at one point, and if he ever got a change to wipe the slape clean, he would make sure the kid didn’t even know how to breathe! But something deep inside Zeth broke, he knew that if the bastard got her to court that it would be the end of her, hell it probably already was. She was just a little to smart for her own good, now he could run and he could hide, but he knew this kid would just see it as a challenge and hunt them down, until Zeth made peace with one of the many courts that were at war with the British. For now he would have to walk along, he dared not take the chance that Drey would let her go if Zeth tried to rip her from his grip. He could not bear thinking the thought to an end.
All he saw was her tear to pieces, and he knew that it would end bad, so now he would have to call in some favors, and he had quite a few he could turn to. But for now he had to keep her out of the court. And he knew that it would probably be the first place the kid took her.
Then he gasped, as he saw her memory of not wearinbg anything under her clothes, goddammit Jaess, your killing me. He looked at Drey, curious if he would want to fight or if he would be the dog Zeth had him for and walk inside with HIS little Jaess. And if he did, what would Zeth do, he wasn’t sure, but it would involve a lot of blood, namely Drey’s. His next thought was to Drey.
“Take advantage of her or hurt her, and I swear there will be a price on your head. I will make sure you will never be able to leave court again. And if you do anything, and I do mean anything to her, no matter how much she begs for it, trust me I will know and I will be waiting for you, court or no court. I am claiming her!”
His fist were clenched he wanted to badly to hurt or even better kill that low life scumbag that Jaess kissed, but he would wait, he had all the time in the world.

Drey didn't bother hiding the smirk as Jaess pretty much gave her what for. The girl had serious fire, and he had to admit he didn't blame her, he was currently stopping himself from going over their and tearing the man's head clean of for interfering with his memories. He made a mental note too keep his shields up for the next few hours minimum in case the bastard came back and decided to steal a new chunk of of his memories for shits and giggles or something. He could tell the other vampyre was getting more and more angry with virtually every word out of her mouth. Which in turn was making Drey happier and happier.
When she turned around Drey actually took his attention away from Zeth for a second because Jaess was actually pretty good at doing that. She didn't seem to know it for some reason which was odd but she could pretty much, when her hand slid across his skin he allowed her to draw his head down, seeing how if he wanted he obviously would not be dragged... any where. She kissed him gently at first and he practically felt the jerk of her thoughts as it switched over to the other person in there, Nat. When she did Drey had to admit he wasn't complaining he she practically assaulted his mouth. A nice mix of the two of them would be fab... but he idly wondered what Jaess would be like if she wasn't paranoid about Nat.
He dropped his hand to the small of her back, holding her in the circle of his arms, enjoying the feel of her and the anger emanating off the other man.
oh cutypie if you can read my thought feel free to pick me up and take me inside, I promise I wont run from you.
Drey smirked as he caught he thoughts flashing his fangs again, this time however was a little accidentally. However that she was now speaking to him with her thoughts she obviously seemed to be handling the supernatural thing very well, girls who handler it well where always interesting for him. Drey Ran his hand through his hair, throwing Zeth another smirk before bending down and picking her up in a swift move which was obvious he was using his vampyre speed. He picked up on her thoughts with the lightning and realised that that must have been what had drawn her out of here in the first place.
He tilted his head to sky and nodded for her to follow his eyes as he tensed his back muscles lightly, keeping the electric from his hands and lit the entire sky up.
Whilst Jaess was looking at the sky he had lit up Zeths thoughts filtered back over to him and he just smiled.
“You forget who you are in the presence off old man. You might have years on my but your quarrelling with a Prince. You are so far out of your league its laughable to me” He chuckled to Zeth before brining his attention back to Jaess. “I'll do what ever this one damned wants me to do, even if it means I'm hoping out of the window and 4am. Whatd'ya say Darl' ? “

She litterally screamed with joy as he picked her up, this was the best rollercoaster ride she had ever had, although she got a little dizzy, but this was the good kind of dizziness. She looked into his eyes and when he looked up into the sky gesturing her to do the same she looked up, she was stunned when the entire sky lit up, she giggled like she hadn’t for years, goosebumps all over as she tuned and kissed Drey feverish, letting Jaess take a little advantage of the poor cold kid. Oh she knew for some reason he wasn’t in danger, at least not from the cold, but she would give her best shoot at warming him up. She let her fingers slide through his hair as she looked up again, hoping for more fireworks.
Oh she knew one thing know, this god in her arms could read minds, and the first part of his statement made no sense to her so she figured it was ment for Zeth, the second part oh that was for her indeed, and maybe just put a little salt into Zeth’s wounds. She didn’t really care, right now she was in wonderland, lighting in the sky and a dream to kiss, and oh yeah he really was a bad ass. So what could a girl ask of more…
Wait did he say prince? She looked at him, making a little room between them as she look seriously at him, asking him in her mind if he was joking, about the royal part at least.
She didn’t look to happy about the thought of royalty. She was so not dating a royal, they were, she wriggled till the stud let her down, she look up at him, all she could think was if this was real where, were the paparazzi’s. Hell no, she was so not going to end up on some tabloid with him in her bed, hell no, her friends would never let her hear the end of that. She was freezing and suddenly she screamed as she grabbed her temples. Her legs buckled underneath her, as she whimpered.
She blacked out as she laid in the snow, the pain had knock her out.

Drey chuckled as her thoughts started panicking slightly about him being a prince and tabloids and all that other stuff. Things that never really applied to him seeing as he was a vampyre royal, not a British royal. Yeah the human royalty knew the vampyres where kicking around and they where second in control to them. The humans of this small little island where nicely under control... If a news paper even tried to follow him for four seconds that reporter would either end up dead or jobless.... Or jobless and then after a few weeks of watching them and laughing... then dead. Drey didn't agree with people poking their nose into his privacy... Oh and he was over 300 years old.
“You have no worry for that luv, your thinking the wrong royalty.”
He smirked and tilted his head to one side, his hair dropping over his face. Although his face flickered to concern as she screamed and buckled. He grabbed her and pulled her too his chest and she blacked out. A chest tore free from his chest as his eyes shot to Zeth. He had been in her mind and he had done something that had hurt her. Yes Drey was likely either going to have himself some fun, kill her or turn her, depending what he was feeling like later but he would be upfront about it. He hated this snidey way of going after people. His eyes dipped to straight black, the whites and the browns utterly vanished and he focused all of his attention on Zeth, electric sparking off him and the sky going rather crazy. “This is what happens when you meddle with human minds old man. I can smell her in you... your related too her... ” Drey moved into a defensive position, he had been attacked and ambushed by more people that most thought possible. Since his mate had been ripped from his arms because he hadn't been able to keep them away from her, he'd gotten better. More than that... he had gotten possessive over everything.
