And now for the good stuff!!
We have a new kid on the block, going by the name of Tristram Stryker , but only their mother calls them that; you can call them Trist, Stryke ! Rumour has it this dude is a totally hoopy frood; so Mum's, lock up your daughters!! They've been cruising the streets of York for 25 years now, after coming into this god forsaken world on 1st January .
Here's the vitals!!
Race:: Aria Elemental
Special Abilities::
1)Teleportation Tristram can teleport instantly over short distances. He has to be able to see his location and He can’t teleport if someone is holding on to him. Teleporting further distances takes a lot of concentration and energy. He never usually teleports further than 15-20 meters.
2)Finesse Tristram has excellent control over his own movement. This means he never loses his balance, he almost always catches himself when he falls and he can pick up and copy actions and movements of others quickly. If he chose he could master any style of dance he wanted, but he prefers learning combat styles. He can also perfectly handle any object he can hold or even just push or pull. He could perfectly slice vegetables into equal sized chunks or draw a perfect circle with little concentration. He mainly uses this ability to turn everyday objects into weapons.
3)Localised air control Tristram can generate strong winds close to his body. The further away the weaker they get. He can re-direct some projectiles aimed at him or create a blast of air in front of him.
Family:: Family of the Fallen
Position in the Family::Courier
The physical!!
The hair:: Tristram’s hair is brow. It is of medium length, usually half covering his ears and always untidy
The eyes:: Tristram’s eyes, like his hair, are a medium shade of brown and have a searching look.
The body::Tristram’s body looks about average, even a little skinny. He doesn’t have much muscle or fat. He maintains this balance through a combination of a diet high in fat and sugar, a high metabolism and a lot of action.
The style::Tristram is extremely casual in his dress. If it isn’t comfortable he won’t wear it; simple. He would go to meet the Queen in jeans and a t-shirt. Some think he is allergic to formal clothes. He is almost always seen in jeans and a shirt and quite often has a jacket, sometimes with a hood. He wears running shoes for the most part and if not some other type of easy to wear shoe.
The looks::
Tristram doesn’t appear physically imposing. He stands a little shorter than average and isn’t really muscular. He hasn’t tattooed himself or had his ears pierced. He has a look of confidence about him though, the way he walks and stands. He dresses casually and acts the same way. He doesn’t appear to be one of those people you ‘just don’t mess with’. He is though.
The mental!!
The likes:: Drinking, seeing new places, doing something different, traveling, fighting, good comedy
The dislikes:: staying still, being ordered around, annoying people, rules, pointless saying/phrases, The little plastic rings people insist on putting in cupcakes at Halloween and Christmas etc
The hopes:: That someday he’ll just be left alone to do what he wants, that he’ll be able to travel for the rest of his life, He’d quite like to find someone like him , he’s not sure about starting a family though, as that would mean settling down.
The fears:: that he’ll be forced into slavery, being trapped/forced to stay in one place, dying old and weak
The talents:: He is a very good fighter, though he doesn’t fight fair. He has a way with words and can silence some people just by talking at them, A unique point of view, he sees things differently to other people and can often put a different spin on the situation of come up with a useful idea. He can drink a lot and not get drunk.
The bad habits:: getting into fights, being a bit too honest and insulting people, unintentionally pushing people away and distancing himself
The attitude::
Tristram is one of those people that doesn’t seem to care for much. He isn’t bothered about what people think about him, he doesn’t really make emotional attachments. He likes change. He likes experiencing something new every day. He enjoys getting into fights simply because they are never the same twice. He gets easily annoyed by stupid or ignorant people and often messes around with them, sometimes tries to provoke them for fun. He doesn’t like people giving him orders and will go out of his way to annoy them. Alternatively he’ll just ignore them. Unless he’s in a good mood it’s difficult to get him to do anything. Some people think he doesn’t care for his own life, the way he recklessly throws himself into dangerous situations. He wants the war to be over and to earn his freedom, but mainly for personal reasons. It would mean he could live his life how he wanted.

The social class:: Lower class
The history::
Tristram was born and grew up in York. His parents were both Aria elementals. Both were couriers, and quite happy to be. Both could teleport which meant journeys took a lot less time and effort than they would for a normal person. One of them would often be away carrying a message for someone or other. As they both held down jobs at the same time Tristram got used to being on his own from an early age.
From the moment Tristram could walk he was exploring his little world, finding out new things. He hated staying still and had to be attached to his chair at meal times so he wouldn’t wander off. He was young when he first showed his gift of teleportation. His parents taught him how to improve it and before long he became an expert at rapid teleportation. As he got older he was allowed to wander the streets alone, which he did at every opportunity. In a few years he had explored pretty much every part of the city. As he was growing up his second ability became apparent. He moved with ease and picked up any movement taught to him almost instantly. His parents enrolled him in a judo class which he quickly rose to the top of.
Tristram’s parent wanted him to follow them and become messengers. It was relatively safe and away from all the violence. Tristram didn’t agree though. He wanted excitement. Though they had always given their only child free reign Daniel and Susan thought they should start being stricter, especially in matters that could endanger Tristram. The more they tried, though, the more their child pulled away.
In his late teens Tristram decided to leave and offer his services to the military, hoping for travel and excitement. He didn’t like taking orders, however, and was, after several arguments with superiors and many fights with others who annoyed him, removed from the military. He was tasked with passing information between tribes and those in them, as that would give him more freedom. He still resented orders and often made things purposefully difficult for people who tried ordering him. Throughout the next few years he wandered around the country, working odd jobs where he could and reluctantly accepting orders and running messages for others in the House. He learned a large number of fighting styles and amalgamated them into one. He never let his parents know what he was doing or even talk to them for a while after leaving. He eventually found out that they had been caught in a conflict and killed. This is the reason he distances himself from others, because he is subconsciously scared of getting too close and then losing them. He spends quite a lot of time in bars, getting into fights. He wants to actively work against the other houses for freedom but can’t stand taking orders. He mainly lives off the money his parents left him supplemented by what he earns on whatever quick job he is currently doing. He doesn’t live In one place, just spends a few nights in a hotel or living off someone else. He is a master at lying and getting gullible people to take him in for a few days.

The RP sample::
The music was loud and the bar was crowded. People had been coming and going for Hours. Tristram Stryker sat at the bar, watching the people around him getting drunk. It was quite amusing really. How stupid people acted once the alcohol got to them. Tristram preferred that stage where you’ve had a few drinks but aren’t yet drunk, where you can still act sanely. It allowed you to observe the people around you, watch them as they degenerated into giggling idiots. Laughing their heads off at anything. Falling about, losing things, paying the taxi driver with a £50 note. If they had that much left.
Turning back to the bar, Tristram gestured to the guy working behind it. “can you get me another Lager please, mate?” he asked. He liked Lager, it was a drink, not just a tool for getting drunk. People often told him to drink something proper. ”Get yourself a proper drink, son.” came a slightly slurred voice from beside him. Speak of the devil. ”You ain’t had an actual drink since you sat down here,” said the voice. Looking round, Tristram saw it belonged to a man in his late thirties. He was clutching an empty glass. “So I’ve just been ingesting air since I got here, have I?” Tristram asked. He might actually get a little amusement out of this guy. ”Look, Pal. There are drinks and then there are drinks. Y’know what I’m saying?” The man replied. Brilliant response, Tristram thought. Nice and descriptive there. ”I know what you mean. There are different ‘categories’ of drink. There are drinks like mine which allow a person to ‘let their hair down’ every once in a while. And there are drinks like yours which reduce a person to a Neanderthal-like state in which they are confused, scared of and ultimately defeated by something as simple as a curb.”
The man took a while to think before replying. It looked quite painful for him, actually. When he finally did the response did little to disprove Tristeam’s last comment. ”You callin’ me stupid?” Brains of Britain we’ve got here, Tristram thought. ”No. I’m saying you’re the kind of dunce cap wearing, uncomprehending cretin that makes Mr. Bean look worthy of a Nobel Prize. Your stupidity is so famous they have statues of it up in city squares. In fact I believe there’s an illustration of you if you look up the word ‘stupid’ in a dictionary.” His little rant made Tristram feel quite refreshed. It was nice to unload a little hate onto a person every once in a while. Once again the man took a while to process the words. The expression on his face was amusing to say the least. He’d seen fish more intelligent than this guy. The expression quickly turned to an angry one, accompanied by more slightly slurred word. “That’s it. You’d better get yourself outside now!” His voice and fist were raised. If he was hoping to phase Tristram he failed miserably. ”Why go all the way outside? I’m just gonna beat you in ten seconds and then I’ll have to walk all the way back inside to get my drink. I may as well just knock you out right here.” The man wasted no time swinging for Tristram. It was poorly aimed and the elemental barely had to move to avoid it. The man had overextended himself and toppled from the stool, landing heavily on the floor. Is it even worth getting up for? Tristram wondered. The barman had returned by now though, and was signaling for the doorman to take the man outside. ”Well that was pointless, wasn’t it?” Tristram remarked as the man tried to rise. The doorman arrived before he’d gotten to his feet, though. Tristram watched the man struggle helplessly as he was dragged to the door. Well that was entertaining, he thought, turning back to the bar.
