Roxi gasped as Ethan switched them around so he was above her; she really didn't have enough time to do much else. She knew that he'd used his telekinesis somehow to make the transition that much quicker and do so without breaking their kiss, but wasn't all that sure how he'd done it. Though she supposed the details didn't matter all that much and wondered exactly what else he could do with his powers.
She rose her head slightly as he pulled back, not willing to let the kiss break. He pulled back further, past the point she could comfortably go and shot her a guilty look. It was so out of place that it threw her completely, causing her head to fall back onto the pillow and her to look up at him with a confused frown. Had she done something wrong?
"Love, If you don't put your shields down any time soon I swear I'm not going to be held responsible for my actions what with you broadcasting your.... emotions …. like that."
Her frown deepened as she struggled to kick her brain into gear enough to work out what he'd said. It took an embarrassingly long time for his words to connect with her brain and even when they did she didn't see the problem.
"But ... I need the shield. I couldn't think clearly with your emotions running through my b-" The realisation hit. He must be having the same problem as she had. She remembered JD saying that by blocking their emotions, she was causing the emotions they felt from her to strengthen threefold. She smiled up at Ethan and wrapped her legs slowly around his waist, running her hand gently over his jaw. She pulled him closer again, ducking out of the way to whisper into his ear. “What will happen if I don’t want to … ?” Acting purely on impulse, she kissed him lightly from his ear, down his jaw to his lips. She pulled back quickly to search his eyes, making sure that she wasn’t over stepping the mark, then moved up to meet him once more, running her nails down his back as her cat purred in approval. She pulled him down gently, closing the small gap he’d left between them. She knew that he’d done it so that she didn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable, but she didn’t want the gap there. She wanted to feel the warmth of his chest against hers and quite frankly the thin strip of material that was currently between the two of them was starting to annoy her. She would get rid of it, but that’d mean losing the contact she currently had.[/blockquote]

Ethan grinned as he saw Roxi struggling with why had had stopped what he was doing, although he was struggling to remember why himself at his point. He could be doing a lot better things right now and very few of those things included pausing for a little chat about her powers. Never the less it seemed that was what he was doing. Sometimes Ethan really was his worse enemy, especially when he was being all gentle man and what not… Stupid conscience.
"But ... I need the shield. I couldn't think clearly with your emotions running through my b-"
Ethan nodded and carried on smiling as she clicked, he could really do with a shield himself what with the fun magnification of emotions slamming its way into his mind. That however was pretty much blanked out of his mind when her legs wrapped around his waist. Pulling him down to her and whispering in his ear. God this woman pretty much could do anything she wanted right now, Ethan really didn't care. He'd been gentleman like and so on so forth.
What will happen if I don’t want to … ?”
Yeah she was just trying to kill him... that was it. Although though pretty much vacated his mind as he nailed scratched down his back. When the gap between them he had been religiously keeping vanished and he trailed kissed from her ear down to his mouth. Ethan shifted himself to a more comfortable place and decided to forget being all gentlemanly and what ever. It was pretty pointless by this point anyway as he pretty much had her pinned underneath him.
He kept himself balanced on one arm whilst his other traced down her side, her top shifted slightly and he made a mental note to thank Loki for the top choice at a later date... it was really growing on him...
“Would you like me to shut down into power saving mode?”
Ethan growled in frustration and rested his head on Roxi's shoulder as he had to withhold the urge not to dismantle 'Puter.
“That machine will be the death of me one day....”

Roxi writhed under Ethan as his hand ran down her side, causing her top to shift even more. At this point, it barely covered her chest and she couldn’t care less. In fact, she wanted it to cover less. The beading at the bottom wasn’t meant to be against bare skin and it was making her itch. Okay, it wasn’t, her mind was on something completely different, but that was her excuse and she was sticking to it.
She pushed herself off the sofa and slid a hand behind her back, keeping her other entwined in his hair. She grabbed at the string keeping her top together and tugged, getting more and more frustrated when it refused to come undone. Damn Loki to hell and back. She’d asked him to tie it so that people wouldn’t just be able to just yank it undone; she didn’t exactly want to flash people in the bar ... But now, when she wanted it to come off, it bloody well wouldn’t!
She gave up on trying to remove her top and closed the gap between them again, pressing herself tight against him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply, nipping gently at his lips.
“Would you like me to shut down into power saving mode?”
Roxi dropped back to the sofa, letting her arms fall along with her. She was seriously starting to dislike ‘puter ... It really was behaving like the annoying younger brother who pops up at the most inappropriate times. If she were able to, she’d take it apart. As it was, she was just considering introducing it to a hammer. And, judging from the frustrated growl coming from him, Ethan was in the same mind set.
“That machine will be the death of me one day ...”
Roxi laughed, she couldn’t help it. When he dropped his head to her shoulder, she wrapped her arms around him and cuddled up to him. “Gods, I love you ...” She pulled back and looked him in the eyes, smiling apologetically for what she was about to do. “It’s probably for the best anyway, hun. I erm ... I think we need to talk. I owe you an explanation ...” She wanted to get this over and done with as soon as possible. It might have been a good idea to have started this conversation before things had gotten so heated, but ... well, who could blame her for losing her sense with him half naked on top of her?
