Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to the stage::
''Artemis!!
[/size][/b]I'm on fire and now
I think I'm ready to bust a move
Check it out I’m rocking steady
To the beat in my head
It goes oh, oh-oh-oh....
Hold the press!!
Don't go wasting all your applause just yet, save some for Suz. They have been treading the floorboards for exactly 21 years and they have been totally female!! She has been in the spotlight roughly 6 years, and they're loving it!!
And now for the good stuff!!
We have a new kid on the block, going by the name of Artemis Aislyn Havelock, but only their mother calls them that; you can call them Arty! Rumour has it this dudette is a totally hoopy frood; so Mum's, lock up your sons!! They've been cruising the streets of Atlanta, Georgia for 24 years now, after coming into this god forsaken world on 10/31.
Here's the vitals!!
Race:: Elemental, Aria.
Special Abilities::
* Teleportation
* Wind current control/flight
* Telekinesis
Family:: Family of the Fallen, Aria Tribe.
Position in the Family:: Courier?
The physical!!
The hair:: Red and curly!!
The eyes:: Blueish green-grey.
The body:: Slender build.
The style:: Mostly casual, although she usually has on at least one conversation piece, be it old-time spats, earrings with fossils in them, some sort of unusual trait. However, she has a habit of wearing loose clothing, as form-fitting doesn't really appeal to her. Her pants tend to be baggy and too long for her. Depending on the occasion, you may or may not see her in formal clothing. She only owns about 2 dresses, as they are inconvenient to move about in.
Most often, an ear cuff with a dangling canine tooth can be seen on her right ear. This is something of a family heirloom, as it supposedly belonged to her father. What Arty doesn't know is that canine tooth originally belonged to a Were, one very pissed about the fact that her father happened to have said tooth in his possession. Particularly in how her father came to own said tooth.
The looks::
Artemis stands at about 5'8", and tips the scales at about 125 pounds. As for her build, the girl is slender, but she does have muscle tone. She is somewhat pale, which makes her hair and eyes stand out. Her red, curly tresses reach to about mid-back length. Normally, they are tied back in a loose ponytail, or left down to freely move. Usually her face is kept unadorned of cosmetics, or perfumes.
The mental!!

* peaches
* tea
* baking
* terrible horror movies
* martial arts movies
* orchestral music

* Finding her sister, Athena
* Feeling like she belongs somewhere
The fears::
* Losing her powers somehow.
* Running into her family's killer
* Being enslaved by Weres or Vampyres
The talents::
* Musically gifted: She plays piano, mandolin, and guitar. (Acoustic and electric)
* A wonderful singer--a classically trained mezzo-soprano.
* Sharpshooting.
* Practiced ninjitsu, so she knows how/where to hit pressure points to take someone down and run the hell away.
* An extremely good cook--she can take nearly anything and make it taste excellent. Pies, cakes, roasts, steaks, vegetables--you name it, she'll try making it.
The bad habits::
* Occasionally will play dumb to get what she wants
* Easily irritated
* Absent minded
* Disorganized
* Loses things quite often
The attitude::
Artemis is a rather inquisitive girl, and her curiosity often gets her into trouble. She enjoys puzzling out how things work; in terms of mechanical objects, people's actions/relationships, etc. It's not that she's nosy and will spread gossip around, the girl is genuinely curious. If she happens to stumble upon your secret, she won't tell anyone unless the secret happens tobe something unethical. Usually, she's pretty easy-going, although it doesn't take much effort to irritate her. Arty is generally a pretty extroverted person, flitting around like a social butterfly. As befits her elemental heritage, the girl is somewhat impulsive.
The rest!!
The parents:: Phineas and Miranda Havelock.
The siblings:: She supposedly has an older sister, Athena Havelock.
The others::
The social class:: Upper class.
The history::
Arty was born to Phineas and Miranda Havelock, elementals who resided in Oxford. Despite being a high-powered lawyer, Phineas had some trouble in the past with a certain group of Weres, as his memories of the Elementals' betrayal at the hands of the Weres were not buried with time. The conflict between her father and this group of Weres continued on; until finally, it had to end. The Weres attacked the house, and in the confusion, both parents died. Artemis had survived, for she had been locked in a wardrobe by her mother. Artemis was only about five years old when this happened, and Athena had gone out. Currently, Athena has been labeled as missing.
As a result of this, Artemis was adopted by one of Lillian's friends from university, an American woman living in Georgia. As Lillian and Phineas were both only children and their parents were dead, Arty was going to be made a ward of the state. However, her parents' will indicated a family friend, Helen Blackstone, to notify in the event of their untimely demise. Helen took Artemis back and raised her in Atlanta. Because of this, Arty currently has dual American and British citizenship. She chose to keep her family name, since it is one of the few things that they have left.
As Artemis became an adult at the age of eighteen, she inherited her parents' fortune, which had only increased with interest. However, Helen would not allow her to go to Britain until she was twenty-one, and officially an adult by American law. As she was reluctant to leave, Arty finally made her way to her birthplace at the age of 23, after graduating with honors from her university. Helen gave her a list of her parents' university friends, so she wouldn't be completely alone and friendless. Upon arrival, one of those friends from the Family of the Fallen was kind enough to inform her of exactly what she was. Although Arty could hardly believe it, she couldn't deny the powers that had been lurking inside her.
She's only been back in Britain for about 3 months, and she considers it an extended stay; as opposed to home. What was originally supposed to be a visit to work out the details of her inheritance became something much more complicated. The aeromancer is somewhat homesick, but since she has been caught up by recent events (i.e., finding out about the Families, etc.), her stay has been extended even more.

The RP sample::
Arty sighed to herself, as she locked the door behind her. Although she had just returned from a night on the town, being alone all of the time really wasn't good for her. It was difficult to befriend people in this town; and the absence of another's presence was only making her angsty. This was ridiculous, as she was a grown woman! Still, the lack of friends made her miss America even more. Not just Atlanta, where her foster-mother resided, but even the friends she'd made at university, scattered about after graduation.
What depressed the girl even more was the fact that she now had a job. It was a good one, and her co-workers were nice, but incredibly distant. She didn't exactly need the money, as the sole inheritor of her parent's fortune left her well-off; but it was something to do. However, it was a reason keeping her here. Arty didn't really have much incentive to remain in England, although she had the vain hope of reuniting with her sister once more. Investigating the whole mess involving the deaths of her mother and father was proving to be a powerful temptation as well. Although Helen had said that the two had been struck by a drunken driver in a car accident, the other friends of her parents had suggested otherwise.
Hanging her jacket on the coatrack in the corner, Arty headed towards the kitchen. As she entered, the girl started rolling up her sleeves, indicating that she meant business. She opened up various cabinets and drawers, taking out the ingredient and items needed. She didn't even know what she was making, at the moment, the chef within her had gone on auto-pilot. Upon regaining her attention a few minutes later, Arty noticed that she was kneading dough. Alright, so some kind of bread was in order. Smelling the aroma wafting from the oven, apparently she had made some sort of chocolate confection, as well as a pie. Stress-baking always resulted in cake overdoses. Sighing, Artemis shook her head.
At least the landlady would be happy. She seemed to enjoy the confections that Artemis brought her when there were far too many for the girl to consume on her own. At least by making herself feel better, the girl was also able to make other people happy.
