Loki slammed his way through as many cats as he could, probably into the same few multiple times. They where scattered and probably hadn't thought this through very well and things were not really going in any ones favour. He saw a cat hurlitself towards his sister but he knew she couldn't handle one cat, the two rounding to flank her however where a different matter all in their own.
He flicked his tail and fire lashed towards them like a whip slamming them harshly into the earth. He snarled in their direction as he got to his feet and the bolted in different direction from each other. Loki jumped after one of them, drawing him away from Rox and Ethan but he couldn't let the bastards re-group. At the moment they where scattered and unnerved be his presence, and he was bloody enjoying the first good fight he had had in a long time. Being a protector was something he had always wanted but sometimes he missed all the fighting that being in the ranks brought you.
He gained speed on the other cat faster than the other had obviously expected, but he was considerably larger and had a large stride that normal were's. It wasn't long till he was closer enough to lauch himself towards the other cat. His claws slicing through its skin like butter and teeth finding his throat easily.
Loki used his superior weight to slam the other down before he had a chance to utilise his speed and lithe body against Loki. There were advantages to being his size in this form but there were also many disadvantages. He didn't want any of these cats to know that.
When he heard bones crack hee raised his head and tried to ignore the taste of blood in his mouth, that was something he really could not get accustomed to. It was vile.
Two cats suddenly changed direction and Loki's head flicked in the direction they where heading. Seeing Patrick's limp form fall from his vantage point. He lashed fire in the same direction, intending to slow the two cats down before they got to an undefended Patrick. Breaking out into a run he managed to flank around them coming up to patrick first, diving into a roll and transforming back into his human form at the same time. Too focused on the task to care for his new ability and when like this his abilities seemed to work faster than her did. Fire coated his arms and two elemental wolves created themselves around his feet, no apparent fur on them, just a coat of pure fire looking as if it where contained by glass.
He thrust his hands towards one cat and two fire balls slammed into it head on, exploding on contact as his wolves started tearing into the other cat.
Just as he was about the ready another attack power seeped through the entire park. Different to Ethan, is was older... and a crap load stronger.
“What the bloodyhell is this no-”
He was cut of mid sentence as he pretty much slammed down onto his knee's he would of yelped in pain but for the fact he couldn't open his mouth. The wolves vanished in less than a second and the cats he had been attacking had been transformed back into their humans forms and where seemingly held in place like he was. “STOP” [/blockquote] So much power back the voice that it was visible. The air seemed to fluctuate with colours as it spread to every occupant currently fighting in the park. [/blockquote]

Roxi's didn't really think about much other than getting to Eric so she could finally get rid of the sword above her head. She'd been living under the threat for so long that even being Life Mates with his twin wouldn't be enough for her. She needed this finishing. Tonight.
She bit down into the scruff of the cat's next below her until she could taste blood, then prepared to leap off into the fight again. She felt a surge of panic and looked up to find Ethan moving towards her. She cocked her head to the side, wondering why he was panicking when she was in complete control.
She was about to jump over to him to give a quick head bump of reassurance when she was thrown aside by the cat under her. She felt the blow to her face before she saw it, and stumbled back in shock as the cat attacked her face again, this time catching her above her eyes. The blood flowed thick and fast, blurring her vision. Even though she'd been training with Loki for the past twenty years, she was completely powerless against the lightning fast strikes this cat was dealing out; they just hadn't had the resources to train against kind of attack.
She did the only thing that she could do; she turned tail and ran towards the flames. A second before she'd have jumped to clear them, she whipped around and sent the heat straight towards the cat causing it to yowl in pain. She jumped on top of it once more, feeling the heat of it's burns and bit once more into it's neck, this time searching for the jugular.
"STOP!"
Roxi whipped around once more, searching for the source of the voice. She stood, shocked as everyone changed back to their human forms and fell to the floor. After a quick search she saw that even her Life Mate was doing so and quickly threw her shield over him, unsure just how effective it would be. She felt the power of his command in a shiver down her spine, but was completely immune to it; if it worked half as well, Ethan would soon be able to break the hold. She would have tried to extend her shields over Loki too, but at that point she wanted him to stay out of it.
She walked over to him, hoping that the proximity would make the shield stronger and shifted back to human form. She was vaguely aware that if any human were to walk past now, they'd see large group of adults kneeling half naked in a circle of fire. She quickly dosed the flames, but that was all that she managed to do before she came distracted by the throbbing pain across the left hand side of her face.
Reaching up, she felt the deep cuts down her cheek, narrowly missing her eyes and the matching set across her forehead. The blood was still flowing, but had slowed down considerably by this point thanks to the accelerated healing of were's. Though she knew that if she didn't get to her Mum in the next hour she'd likely scar.
She wiped the blood from her eyes and looked towards where the voice had originated. There, stood in the trees, was one of the Kings of her old Court. And she was stood in her now singed skirt and shredded t-shirt. Thank God her bra was in one piece and was as suitable for the occasion as lingerie could be.
As he took a step towards her, she took a step closer to Ethan, pressing her leg up against his arm. Somehow, this contact built her confidence, allowing her to stand tall as Ethan Kavanagh Senior made his way to her.

Everything just changed so fast it practically gave Ethan whiplash. Ethan snr's power swept thought parks and doused everyone. Transforming most of them back into their human shapes. After his change was forced upon him he was slammed down to the ground like everyone else. However it wasn't long before he felt a blanket of Roxi's power cover him and hold some of it off him, giving him the opportunity to stand up as his Father came over to them. As Roxi had been leaning against his he suspected she wasn't comfortable around him father, from the tiny amount of information he had gleaned today he wasn't really surprised. He leaned into her and draped her arm protectively over her shoulders, not that her father would lay a finger on her.
Ethan Snr sent a burst of pride to Ethan, and congratulations, and guilt over this situation. Ethan realised that he was showing him the things that the old man would be incapable of saying in the park. Ethan offered a quick smile back in return, before retaining the mask of the courts that his father also held. He felt more than saw his mother exit thee park, most likely using their life mate bond to escape his fathers power. He did however wonder how his father was not sensing this. It made no sense but then what tonight actually made sense? None of it that's what. The only happiness in this mess was that his life mate was now stood at his side.
Ethan Snr Snapped his fingers and two men came from the shadows, dragging Eric along with them, looking seriously worse for wear. Ethan Snr turn to his son and let his mask slip for a second and the look of pure rage, anger and disgust apparent on his face before he brought that mask back up. Several of the cats openly flinched at the sight but Ethan just stood with his own mask in place.
“I shall be dealing with you later son
The growl that slipped from his throat coupled with the strength of his words practically caused Eric to start shaking on the spot before the two men vanished into thin air, taking Eric back to the house. Ethan barely missed a beat before turning back to Ethan and Roxi. Stoping for a moment to send a silent command to his men to clear up the area.
“Before we get down to thing I have to ask are the Fuocco and Aqua Elementals friends of yours?”
Ethan merely nodded to his father who waived a hand in the direction of the two elemental.
“Anyone else”
“No one else, Eric brought this back up from some where.”
Ethan Snr nodded again before sending out more orders. When he was done he turned his attention fully to Roxi. Barring formal meetings before she had been cast out he had not seen Roxi too since his Life mate fell out with her parents. It had been a shame as he had been very fond of her and her brother when they where small children. But Then Ethan Snr had always been accused of being fall to forgiving over people mixing with other races, Ethan snr however truely did not care, he was a beilever in True Love and finding your Life Mate.
“Ah, Miss O'Hara. It is a pleasant surprise to see you again although I doubt you remember me too clearly. I have been trying to locate you over the last few years. With it being impossible to offer a pardon without your presence it made this some what tricky.”
Ethan Snr Nodded, he spoke as if he were in court as their where many, many people listening in on this conversation and it would be documented some where by the end of the night. Ethan however could tell his father was holding something back, he could tell he wished to say more but couldn't as he was held by the constraints of his position. Not for the first time in his life did Ethan feel sorry for his father and a slight dread at the fact this would one day be his job. He was already at a place where he couldn't just do or say as he pleased without it being written some where and possibly being used as ammunition against him in the future. And he wasn't even kind yet.
“I understand you have been taken in with the Family of the Fallen and I am please you found some where to call home. Also in the eyes of the Moonlit court you also have dealt no offence against our persons.”
Ethan Snr nodded, a small smile tracing the corner of his mouth for a second before it was gone, He sincerely hoped that Rox would understand that he was constrained by the courts and this was pretty much the best he could offer her in a way of apology in such an open setting.

Roxi leant up against Ethan and wrapped her arms around his waist as Eric was bought forward, knowing that if she didn't she'd likely move to attack him. She knew that that was probably not the best thing to do, what with his father standing in front of her, but the urge to kick him was almost overwhelming.
She flinched inwardly as the power of Ethan Snr's threat rolled over her. His power felt completely different to Ethan's; instead of feeling like someone tracing lines over her skin, it felt like someone had thrown her in a pool of lava. If it weren't for the fact that she'd been around a Fuoco for years it'd be really uncomfortable.
She looked around as Ethan Snr mentioned both Loki and Patrick, wondering where they'd actually gotten to. She hadn't seen anything of Pat, but she knew he must be around somewhere or he wouldn't have been mentioned, and she knew that Loki wouldn't have left her with so many people attacking her, even if she had wanted him to.
“Ah, Miss O'Hara. It is a pleasant surprise to see you again although I doubt you remember me too clearly.” Roxi turned quickly back to Ethan Snr, nodding once. “I have been trying to locate you over the last few years. With it being impossible to offer a pardon without your presence it made this somewhat tricky.”
Roxi frowned, wondering where the hell this was going. She wasn’t aware that she’d been that untraceable; she’d gone where any Creature would go when they were kicked out of their Court. Hell, she’d even been in London the majority of that. Surely if they’d have seriously looked for her they would have found her. Though, judging by what just happened with Eric, it was probably a good thing that they hadn’t done.
“I understand you have been taken in with the Family of the Fallen and I am please you found somewhere to call home. Also in the eyes of the Moonlit court you also have dealt no offence against our persons.”
Her frown deepened, not quite understanding what had just happened. She turned to Ethan and looked up at him, her face a question hoping that he’d explain to her. “I could go back?” She turned around to where she felt Loki. She knew that most banished Cats would jump at the chance to return to Court, but they hadn’t found a place there; they all tended to keep completely to themselves. She, however, had found a family. She didn’t want to go back. She liked where she was now and she wasn’t willing to go back. [/blockquote]

Ethan Snr shrugged at her idea of going back, his wife would demand it of course, wouldn't allow her son to be life mates with someone who was not of the MoonLit court. Ethan Snr however was one of the few men who had protested the break between the Fallen and the MoonLit courts, but of course the brutish wolves have made it entirely impossible and the fact there where many people in his own court who where against it for relations between the Free and the Moon to be brought back together. Practically the only way to achieve it would be to have a revolution and break from the wolves – something which was entirely impossible.
However, if his Son where life mates to some one from the court it would put him in a stronger position.
Ethan could see where his fathers thought process was leading down, his father was one of the strongest and nicest person within the court, Ethan also knew that he had been trying to build up relations with the Luce and the fact he was seeing his newly formed relationship with Roxi as a stepping stone. He shook his head making it clear he would not be allowing Roxi to be used as a political pawn in any game what so ever.
“What he is saying is that you can do as you please, you can enter the Moonlit court but remain with the court of the Free as long as the secrets of both sides are withheld.”
Although Ethan knew what he was saying sounded good his power leaked into his words and he shook lightly in anger at the fact of it. He needed to speak to his father, and soon. As much as Ethan followed his fathers ideals there where at least 20 people against it for every 1 person who was for it. He was putting her in a dangerous situation and his protection instincts where not impressed.
“Ethan my boy, your abilities certainly have taken a little bit of a boost haven't they. And try not to worry about other matters for the time being.”
The latter part of his sentence was spoken seriously differently to the rest, colours flitting around them as his power swept over Ethan. He gritted his teeth to hold against it, pressing himself against Roxi for strength. His father was pretty clear on the matter however, he would not be discussing it here so matter what he did. Ethan Snr kept an easy smile of his face before turning abruptly to the side.
“Ah, the men are bringing your friends over, You all do seem to be in need of healing but I believe the Acqua Elemental is finally rousing. However it seems the fuoco would not allow my men to bring him over”

“What he is saying is that you can do as you please, you can enter the Moonlit court but remain with the court of the Free as long as the secrets of both sides are withheld.”
Roxanne nodded, knowing that she would never set foot in those halls again. There would be too many memories there and the only way she'd be able to get through that was to have Loki there with her to distract her by hitting on practically everyone. And the fact that he is Fallen would make that impossible. Hell, even if their King had said that she could, the rest of the Court wouldn't allow her in either. She was a marked, Fallen cat. It wouldn't matter to them that she'd been pardoned, all that would matter is that she was associated with the enemy. Twice. They'd sooner kill her than accept her into their Court again.
She knew that and Ethan would probably have guessed what she was thinking from the emotions that she was feeling and she hoped that he understood why. Or understood enough not to question her just yet. She knew that she'd have to explain all of what had happened to her at some point, but she wasn't ready for that just yet. The only person she'd told fully was Loki, and even then she'd skipped bits. She had even been trying to hide parts of what had happened to her from herself, which had worked up until earlier that night.
Now that that was let loose in her mind, she wasn't sure whether she'd be able to forget it all again and she knew that until she did, she'd be having nightmares again. Loki was used to this as every so often she'd have them and would always find ways to make her better. But Ethan would be new to all of this and if he were to wake up to her screaming and running for her brother, she doubted he'd know what to do.
She felt Ethan tense next to her and tried to fortify her shields around him, feeling the power in the air again. She'd missed what had been said but wasn't liking the fact that Ethan Snr was trying to force his son into something.
“Ah, the men are bringing your friends over, You all do seem to be in need of healing but I believe the Acqua Elemental is finally rousing. However it seems the fuoco would not allow my men to bring him over”
Roxi turned abruptly looking towards where Loki was now fighting to get away from the men who were trying to bring them over. She took a step towards him, then realised that Ethan would be less protected if she left. She was completely torn, but she knew that if she didn't go to Loki, he'd likely cause some damage and hurt himself in the process.
She quickly turned to Ethan and went up on her tip toes to kiss him. "I'll be back in a second. I need to help him. I'll keep the shield as strong as I can." She kissed him again and ran towards her brother, sending out strong calming vibes, hoping to make him realise it was okay.[/blockquote]

Loki was fuming, the power was still holding him down and it wasn't good, he was stuck back in his human form and his emotions where generally all over the place. Something that was seriously not good for an elemental at any point of their life. Let alone when barely an hour ago his powers had begun spiking. It was all he could do not to tear the area in two and to protect Patrick from the advancing cats. He also knew that all of this did not body well for his sister. He didn't like the idea of their being a cat this powerful.
The cats where speaking to them, but he couldn't hear them. The voices just washed right over him as he put all of his strength into breaking the compulsion to just stay down. The power was starting to be directed else where. He pushed back the thought that that could mean it was being used on his sister, if he panicked now it wouldn't work. He made sure Pat was far enough away from him so as not to get burnt before he turned his new found strength on the invisible bonds holding him down. Feeling them snap he jumped to life, his hands instantly alight.
One of the cats however had a weapon trained of Pat. If he did anything it was likely he would killed the other Elemental. Loki was starting to go insane at this point, he was feeling too trapped and two tired down, it wasn't in his nature to ever give in.
It was then Roxi ran over...
The cats parted for her....?
Loki had no idea what was going in. Something really wasn't right with all of this and he didn't like it. He knew what had happened to Roxi in the past and he wanted to keep her away from it. But he had failed. At such a simple task and he had failed at it. His confidence had really taken a slaughtering tonight and he was practically the 17 year old kid again who discovered he was wrong.
He'd always been wrong, something not right, not natural about him. Every since he was 17. Now he was a protector who couldn't even protect on of the most important people in his world to him. Again, Wrong.
He snarled the emotions down and focused on Roxi and she made her way over to him.
“Rox, What's going on? Pat is only just started to regain consciousness and there is some one here with a heck of a lot of power.”
His fingers twitched and sparked erratically, giving away the agitation and adrenaline surging through his body right now. He wants to get out of here with Rox and Pat in one piece. He HAD to.

Due to unforseen events, this thread has had to be closed.
Events that would have taken place in the rest of the thread: • Due to over using his new power and exhausting himself, Patrick dies. • Loki blame's Ethan for this and therefore hates him. • Ethan Snr. promises to visit Roxi and Ethan in the future, hoping to persuade Roxi to go to The Moonlit Court. • Loki see's the injuries Roxi has received and demands to take her home. • Roxi refuses to go home unless Ethan come's to. • Loki begrudgingly agrees and they all drive back to the Andvari's to be healed.
